Just dont give up and during your two weeks off you can do it iam glad to hear from you. i have stopped the percocet and iam know on the norco that the doctor sd i would be on after surgery its like giving up one and taking another just wish i could go without any of it. Keep in touch and dont be embarassed this is a hard devil to get rid of but as long as we can talk to each other i think that helps.
Well I was doing super until last night. With the 15mg Morphs er's & 15mgs ir's I was sailing of the 6-30s of Oxy a day.I got down to 1 1/2 a day! This was in 9 day's. Last night I broke down and to a 30 at 2am and another 30 at 8am. Kickin myself today!!

Honestly, I've been looking all over the internet to see alot of different opinions about detoxing at home. The more i read the more i laugh. Not funny that prescription drugs are so addictive and pharmacutical companies know this and still push these drugs to get rich. Any Doctor that would prescribe anything this addictive is a glorified drug dealer and nothing more, except they don't have to worry about the jump boys kicking their doors in. I do laugh because who the f**k in their right minds would put anything that they don't know much about into their bodies???? c'mon people,from what i've put together, everybody who seeks detox at home wants to here a easy solution. Bullchit in my eyes. If you want to come off this evil poison then just do it??? why is this so hard for people to do??? does it hurt? yes! Do you go through agonizing pain physically and most of all mentally?? Yes!! Hasn't any of you guys had the flu and been bed ridden for 3 or 4 days and felt like you were going to die?? I would bet $10,000 that every one of you people have. It sucks but you won't die, you will be miserable that's all. The difference is that you made the choice the be a addict and yes everybody on this poison is an addict. weather you have a legal bottle in your hand or get them off the streets, you are all adults and made your beds so sleep in them. This stuff isn't that hard to beat if you have the willpower and nothing more. you either want off this senseless drug or you don't. there are no excuses why one can't get off this chit. I'm 8 days deep after using for over 3 years with a very high dosage a day. i spent about $2,000 a week on this routinely. you all know what these things go for so do the math yourselves on how many i used. I quit on an average 2-3 times a year to either make extra money on bets or to do it with friends because they're too weak and scared to do this alone. I'd be a fool not to take a grand to stop using for a couple weeks to show people it can be done ALONE!!!! You don't need a Dr. to do this or waste $10,000-$15,000 on a rehab that generally makes things worse for you. Think about it, would you rather go through this kind of pain in the comfort of your own home or in a institution with a bunch of strangers who stay up all night and just piss you off because they won't allow you to sleep. Anybody can get off of this chit ALONE!!!! I live in tennessee so i am surrounded by pillbillies and crazy f**ks who have robbed walgreens over 50 times in 2011 alone. that's just at walgreens. I live in the heart of this addiction so I am certified better than any Dr. on how to beat this for good. all a Dr. knows is what he or she have read in a book?? just because they are a Dr. don't think for a minute that they have a miracle solution. Here is how you detox for good and the easiest. Take note that i said the easiest, not easy at all. heres how you do it. days 1-3 take methadone, suboxone, or whatever you choose to use. you are going to need alot of benzos during this time as well. after 2 or 3 days switch up whatever you are using at the time because the last thing that you want is to exchange addictions. myself i like methadone for 2 days then i switch up to cebutex for a day or to then heres the kicker that most people don't know. on day 4 or 5 symptoms will will decrease so what i do is get some kratom and use it for a few days then its over physically. Kratom leaves are very in-expensive if you buy over the internet. Kratom leaves are a opiate found in thailand mainly and is illegal there. better get them now though because the United States is presently moderating this drug for its popularity and usage in America. If you live in Indiana you are screwed though because its the only state where it is illegal??? don't ask me why but it just is. Before you put anything into your bodies though, do your homework. Kratom in low dosages won't get you high, it will take away all detox syptoms to where you can function normally. The physical symptoms aren't the hard part though. Sure it's the most painful part, but it goes away after 5-7 days, temporarily. The mental addiction goes on for weeks and months for some people. Staying drunk helps alot of people as well. Point being is WILLPOWER!!! Keep trying different things until you find the remedy that works for you. If you start your day and your plan isn't working then switch it up immediately, don't use a pill though. After you get about 5 or 6 days deep you will start feeling better because oxycontin or oxycodone only stays in your body 5 days max. This is why detox tanks hold you only 5 days, then cut you free back on the streets. What these so called Dr's who are suppose to be specialized in this area and take your hard earned money don't know is that after 5 days this evil toxin starts coming out of your bones. Yes!!! opiates store in your bones and slowly release after it gets out of your bloodstream. MY point being is, after you start to feel better after 5 days or so and you think that your getting better you will get hit with a second wave when your bones release it. DON'T GET DISCOURAGED and relapse though because this is normal. You may think you did something wrong or WTF is happening to me, i was feeling better, now its hurting again. It takes a couple more days to get out of your bones. working outside is best to rid out of system as well. Although you will feel miserable through your detox, sweating gets it out faster but is more painful if you don't load up with heavy dosages of whatever your taking to detox. Good luck to all with your detox. I've been clean 2 weeks now and am eager to start up again. I will continue to bet people on this senseless drug for more money to use and to take nice vacations. haha. peace out.
My problem started 4 years ago. I had great medical insurance and went to see my doctor when I bent over and hurt my back. I gave them my insurance card and was told that it was no longer good.I called my Ex wife and asked what happened to my Insurance? It was part of our settlement. I gave her a very large sum of money gave up my retirement. and In turn I would remain on the Insurance policy Until one of us ever remarried.Court order so it was no issue for the family policy. In fact it was about A hole dollar with that . Well since I had no insurance and no means to get welfare I was screwed. So a buddy had some Oxycodone and gave me some. it helped well as time has gone by I have been taking them since.I had a buddy who is a doctor and he gave my a shot in my back(steroid) it helped for about 6months but he took his practice to another state and I have been buying the oxy every week since. I ran out and came to realize that I am an addict with no means to get help. I am the working poor but dont qualify for assistance. I tried to get off and was very sick in the process. I dont know where to turn? I dont drink or smoke but am addicted to this with no help incite.

I have called a every facility I can find on the internet, and hospitals that have drug programs. Either they won't take me or they seem more like a prison ward then a rehab facility. I can not do the 12 step, this is not what this person needs. What I need is a place that will preserve my dignity and my self esteame. I had a real crappy childhood and spent the last forty years trying to become a human being now all the human being have left the planet and I am the only one left.

this will be the last for a few days surgery is tomorrow and not sure when i will be able to get back on iam now taking 1 norco every 8 hrs and hope that after tomorrow i will be able to stop them i know i will have some w/d but hoping not to bad greg and marg keep doing the best you can and i will check in again in a few days God Bless

I amm on 4 15 mil of roxycodin a day but extremely constipated and need pain relief, so would like to get off unless really bad pain days.

help help, am trying to detox of 15 mg of oxy codone. Actually started taking 15 mg and would cut another pill in half because of the hamstring an calf pain.
I am now down to 15 mg I can get to anywhere from 4-6 hours and then the withdraws go away, hot/cold sweats, leg pain. BUT, i am struggling breathing, and it is when I lower my dosage. So if I take 15 mg, it will hit me in 2 hours the breathing problems. I never smoked cigs, so I have to cut a pill in 4 and take 1/4 added to the 15 mg so I can breath and my vision is also blurry too, all I hate this .
was on Ocycodone for 2 years then the last two years on suboxone, but now I can't get the suboxone for free anymore. Got it for free the last year, i live in california and Medical is giving not covering. So I went to 20 mg of hydrocodone 3 weeks ago so avoid suboxone withdraws. A Night mare, trip to ER and constant saliva wanting to spit every second. Last Tuesday pain doc put me back on Oxycodone, so she nI taper off that is when the breathing problems start any one have a similar situation.?
BTW feels like I had had the three week flu.

hi rystar sorry about your struggles try taking a valum it helps with the withdraw cold sweats an sweats your going to feel body pain cus the oxy is in your bones but you wont feel that till after the oxy is out ur blood 3to4days max then the bone pai the valum will help your breathing an calm you down just for a little bit let me know how you make out

I agree with alot of the things you said Dr. however, Detox centers are a joke. If you are in fact a Dr. you will tell anybody to go to a hospital because it helps fellow Dr's like yourself receive a paycheck. Rehabs are the biggest waste of money. The only bigger pieces if chit than a rehab Dr. is a pharm rep. They have 0 integrity and don't care how many lives they destroy to get a paycheck. My brother is a P.A. and if i went to the hospital for every little thing that he tells me for then I would be paying hospital bills the rest of my life. Nobody needs professional attention to detox, it's simply willpower. To tell somebody that they need special treatment to do something is just a bash to one's self-esteem. I do believe Dr's are needed for society but any Dr. that would run a pain clinic is just plain trash

hun i have tryed that and it may work for you but if you have been on these drugs for a long time its going to be a lil harder to get off them. yes methadone may help with the wds but you can become dependent on them as well. there other ways to get off them yes you will have to go thru the wds but its a lot more safe and you dont have to take some thing that you could get dependent on for the rest of your life trust me its not fun at all and im only 24 years old
thanks guest, well I have been on lorazepam long time, not doing c**p so I went to alprazlam, found out it helps with the leg pain but i struggle breathing. c**p, I can't win so i got to go back on lorezapam so I can breath, I see my pain doctor tomorrow and will ask to go on suboxone and hope medical covers then I can do a 6 week taper, I will ask tomorrow for valium.
