Have a look at the symptoms of hyperthyroidism or thyroid related problems and check  if your symptoms are similar. I'm no doctor but i had the same symptoms you speak of and found that my thyroid was the problem.

Good luck

I use to have the same problem! I wanted to die i tried everything, even starving myself for two weeks. Turned out, i had candida from birth control pills I was taking. It made yeast spread throughout my body ESP my stomach and intestines. antibiotics can cause the same thing. I was always a healthy eater. OBSESSED with diet and working out.

Hello Gurdy,

Thank you for your reply. If I may ask, what did you do take care of your candida. I was on a candida diet and it helped me a bit, but I still have my noises. Can you please tell us exactly what you did to get rid of your candida.

Also, like mentioned above another thing to look at is hyperthyroid. Try taking B12 and see if you feel better and less bloated. Every time I take B12, I do feel better and my stomach feels more at ease. I suggest taking the liquid form and putting it in a capsule.

Also, what helps me is Pamine and/or Pamine Forte, there are others, which others have done well with. Another one is Buscopan or Buscapina.

Yepp. Feel all of your guy's pain. I'm college only taking 1 class right now. The first time around in 2008 I was in college and failed miserably. One of the reasons was because of the stomach noises. Anyways, the class I'm in now is 2 hours long, and I go through the samething. I just started taking anti gas supplements and they seemed to help some, but I haven't been on them long enough for a fair assessment. I'm going to try eating as much as I can before class so I'm not hungry. And I'm going to start taking fish oils again and maybe some olive oil too. Just hopes this helps. None of us should be dreading going to class or work because of our noises stomach (intestines). God bless.

I think this problem is not a disease in and of itself; rather a symptom of a broader issue that varies among us. For instance, some may be lactose intolerant, others may have an allergy to gluten, the movement is just our body's response to stimuli given delayed response. This explains why there has been no official diagnosis, as well as the multitude of working dietary adjustments that work for some, not others. Regardless, begin process of elimination by using Lactaid milk substitute and enzyme support. It's surprisingly easy to cut out a large percentage of dairy intake with just a few changes to your daily life. Second step, try the "warrior" diet- high fat/carb breakfast, healthy snacking and sustinence eating (eating for energy, no artificial sugar) throughout the day. For dinner- gorge yourself. Eat relative to your daily workload, but reward yourself for a hard day on the hunt or in battle. Remember that better, more natural foods fuel lasting energy, pig out accordingly. But still, no dairy. Say yes to bacon. Either of these will help you cope. Go buy LACTAID lactose free milk so you don't have to give up froot loops and such. Figure out what the broader issue is from there, there's a major link between stress, anxiety, and HPTA-axis function that is just now being explored. Oh yeah, your hypothalamic-pituitary axis regulates digestive function. Google scholar PHD, kids.... Good luck!

I feel quite the same... It's always between the 4-6 for me... Its really embarrassing because I'm usually quiet and the room is always silent when my stomach chooses to growl... Try eating dry foods, like bread if it keeps up.

I discovered my problems were because I was being exposed to toxic tobacco smoke in my workplace. Since similar symptoms were being experienced by others at my workplace, we petitioned the owner of the building to prohibit smoking everywhere in the building and outside within 100 feet of the building. Shortly afterwards, our city prohibited all smoking in all places, to protect everyone

All smoking everywhere (indoors and out) must be banned, now!

hey i feel your pain the same thing started with me in high school, exactly like you , now I'm in college and lets say it got worse that I'm at the point where I'm going to do a whole full body check up with the doctor (which by the way said there was nothing wrong and that it was nothing) .if nothing else works I'm taking online courses. but definitely no way to live. i basically eat something very light ilk toasted bread and nothing to drink since every time i drink something in the morning like the noises are more loud and you can hear the water in your body. try to skip dinner or at least not eat after 4. basically your not alone and definitely do recommend to get yourself checked at the doctor. good luck !

I have similar problems for 2-3 weeks now. A big pain, Big time . Also my stomach is gassy in the morning. I go for like 3-4 bowel movements, only then the growling stops. Its excessive gas I think. I am planning on visiting a doctor soon. It happens when I am hungry and sometimes when I am not.

I FEEL RELIEVED that I am not the only one facing such problems.

I am so glad that I am not the only one suffering from this! My stomach has been making loud noises since I started college which was in September! I thought I was pathetic worrying about such thing but this actually makes me depressed! As a result of this I have now started to suffer from anxiety, and cannot sit in a lot of classes as I feel like i am going to have a panick attack! I start back in college tommorow and I am dreading it! Instead of keeping it in I am going to go and talk to somebody about it - counsellor! It makes me want to drop out of college. I have college 4 days of week and have to sit in a lot of classes everyday, there are only 14 people in  my class and it is very quite! I would much rather if the teachers would let me take the notes and go to the library to work on the assignments (i feel comffortable in the library as there are noises around me). I don't know if they would let me do this, but at the end of the day it's the assignments that going to decide if I pass or not. HELP!
