i am 14, and i always thought i was fat. i am tall and in my weight range so i am just average i guess. if you hare running or jogging or any excersise at all your not going to loose weight you need to be active it will keep your mitabalism fast you can always speed walk and take the stairs instead of elevator or escelator if that is not an option for you if you  cant do physical activity keep your diet very natural eat organic and natural food NO PROCESSED furites veggies whole wheat toast that kind of stuff you can do pilaties or yoga you will start to see a difference i have lost 40 pounds by just changing my life by a little bit!!!!!!!

I'm 15 and I had a sudden realization last year. Everytime I went to the grocery store with my dad....he'd wonder away. later on i found out he was actually embarressed that his then 14 year old daughter weighed almost 200 pounds. he was ashamed of me...and it sucked. so i decided i'll change. I havn't seen my day in over a year because he was ashamed. I now weigh 127lbs and I'm seeing him tomarrow. All I did was drink more water, walk for an hour in the morning and an hour at night, and I stayed away from most junk foods (not all becuz hey im not completly good lol). Whenever I thought I was hungry I'd drink a glass of water and if I still was I'd grab carrots or an apple. If I ever got bored I'd take my dog for a walk or I'd go walk to a friend's house. If your trying to lose weight PLEASE DONT STARVE YOURSELF!!! My sister did that and she ended up fainting at school and later ended up having seizures from it. its not good and its not fun to starve yourself. The end result takes a little while but as long as you stick with it, you'll get the result you want. Wish me luck on seeing my dad, maybe now he wont feel so ashamed. Im surprising him at work for his birthday :)

Hello! Im 140 pounds and i was 196 all u have to do is eat slowly so ur hunger goes away and eat not a lot.Drink water and run 1-2 hours a day(i like 2 hours) Try to do at least 250 adominals a day when u get used to it do 300 and go up a little every day. (i do 450 now) do a sport like soccer basketball (soccer best) and go to the gym for a 1 hour and do the machines and and lift that things to get muscles! hi :D im 14 yrs old and i weigh 120 pounds and im a size 8 i  try to get a work out but its incredibly hard to do that beacuase i have asmtha and i feel i havto faint after or during excercies so i rrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaally neeed some suggestions here :C

Hi i'm also a 14 year old and wanting to lose weight. I've read a lot of these posts ,everyone wants the same thing. I think it's quite terrible how everyone wants to lose a lot of weight.I can't be bothered doing exercise because its just boring, I'd rather have fun doing it than be miserable about myself.Try getting out more maybe start by walking to the bus with a friend.I already do this it's not far but at least i'm actually doing something.I have PE maybe 3-4 times a week and we do that for a hour i actually try and be part of it, it's fun and you have lots of friends around you.I also am taking part in the ski and snowboarding program we spend a whole Thursday each week doing this and also go up in the weekends. I'm making a goal for myself so run for about half an hour maybe 3 days during the week I know it's not much but each week il try run for longer or faster :) I know i'm not the skinniest girl or fittest person on the planet but i'm really into all this diet stuff i think it's more of a thing you do when your older rather than now.I would also stave if i didn't eat I LOVE food!!So I say just take small steps ,be patient and I promise you will see results :) xx

Hi im 14 and i weigh 10-14 stone not sure i havnt checked in a while theres 4 weeks left of summer holidays and i want to lose at least 3 stone before school i look pretty fat and thats what i want to change i have a treadmill in my garage and a long garden i dont want to exercise out of home in case anyone i know sees me (that would be embarrasing) and i dont want to talk to my parents about going on a diet or anything so if you have any tips or anything please an email at _[removed]_ PLEASE I NEED THIS TO GAIN THE RESPECT I DESERVE :(

Yooooo, I'm 13 and I weigh about 140, and I want to lose more weight, like to 120, which is gonna be pretty easy for me. But I used to be 165, I lost a lot of weight after getting my braces, I am also in the YMCA swim team, not anymore because now I want to try volleyball. After I exercise, I can't even eat. Just soft stuff... All of my relatives said I looked skinnier, even on webcam, and they're the ones that would rather tell people the truth even if it hurts. By the way, try not to eat after 8. And drink at least 8 cups of water. Eat a lot of fiber too! You can buy those things at Walgreen's, it helped me a lot. I just know how to lose weight, after eating in New York I went up to 150 again, then, 3 weeks later, I'm 142. I mean I didn't really try to lose weight.

hi....i am 14 yrs old also ....i weigh about 120 pounds i feel like im fat .....an di wanna lose weight bc i have been gaining weight off and on latley i just wanna no how to lose weight really fast i walk around town with all of my friends and stuff but it doesnt look like its helpin well ....well somebody please please help me please im not very happy with my weight:(

i am 14 years old and i weigh 120 lbs. id like to be a little less, maybe 105. i started eating only three meals a day, no snacks, and i lost 5 pounds in 5 days. the first day itll be kinda hard, but you get used to it. and its completely healthy, because i asked my doctor and she said it was perfectly ok. hope this helps! :)

im 14 years old and from england i weigh about 167lbs i went to the doctors and i am currently obese and would love to get down to aroung 120lbs would be a lovely goal for me i amlooking to do it in about 3 weeks not a long time i kno but i would be greatful if you have any tips/advice

I'm 14 and I'm pretty skinny, 95 lbs. But I'm 5'2 and the reason why I look skinny is because most of my fat goes to my stomach. I thought it was baby fat and half of it was. My stomach shrank but it's still not as small as normal girls that's 95 lbs. My arms and legs are really thin but I wish my fat was distributed. I'm thinking of jogging everyday and trying my hardest during P.E. Last summer, I took a tennis camp and I had to run 2 laps around the court everyday, including other exercises that literally made me want to drop dead. But once school started, i realized my shirts and jeans were a little too loose for me and running laps was easier than usual. You should try it. Running laps may not be very effective, but you'll feel much better.

  OK.. so im 13 and like 90 pounds i just stumbled across this and i like answering questions online but anyways back to the point...i swim during the winter (and all year but winter is competitive) and i lost 1 pound in 2-3 months. i was like 93 in 7th grade but now im like 90-91. competitive swimming helps a lot because you work every part of your body and you dont feel sweat (cuz ya kno what girl likes to sweat) and you feel refreshed with water after swimming which is good for you. swimming would seem to work if you like swimming

What helped me to lose a good bit of weight. (Which I need to get back doing), I started eating organic food. For example if i wanted pizza instead of going out and getting it i made my own. I'm 14 and i started working out and eating organic food wether it was brownies or something i made sure it was organic and it tastes good. but i started losing a lot. Maybe this could work for you. Cause i used to do a whole lot of diets too and they didn't really work and i thought there was no hope but then i tried what i just told you about. and it worked.
