listen im 13 years old im 177 and 5'9" im a girl.. IM athletic! i play all star softball pitching and travel AAU basketball! with boys and girls! I play all year around im always playing a sport i hardly ever have time to chill! i drink protein shakes they are suppose to replace meals and help gain muscle! but i love to snack ugh! but i eat llots salad! i maybe drink protein in morning or have bagel! eat school lunch then have snack then dinner but i hate being thick help?

Hi, I am 13 years old and I'm turning 14 in about a month. I am not happy with the way I look at all. I don't feel good about myself what so ever. Sometimes I can't even look at myself in the mirror. I really would like to lose 20 pounds before summer. I'm going to try al of the suggestions I've read, but if you have anymore, please let me know.

i am also 14 years old and if you eat celary it burns 180 calories so eat raw foods i lost 20 lbs like that like salads and only water or koolade when i say raw food i dont mean raw fish im talking about fruits and veggies i know it dosent taist good but if you really dont like it hold your nose wile you eat kuz you cant even taist it :-) i hope i helped

Ok, So Im 14 too. and I weigh about 182 and I knw that im overweight adn just about obese. I get stressd out alot and when i do i sometimes turn too food. Ive been eating essevily lately and i dont understad why.. Ive tryed t drink more water but whe the pop is there its soo tempting and Ive tryed watching my proprtion size. I would really love to be about 125-130 lbs. Would love to have tips! Thanks

Girl get active go out side play soccer or something to get fit i used to wight 129 and i started doing sports  at school i would stay to run at school track ,play soccer and i got fit i am 14 too and i weight 110 i lost a lot of weight . Just exercise a lot .:)

hey guys, one key to a good diet is to drink 8 5oz cups of water every day. The next step is to get at least 20-30 minutes of exercise everyday. This sounds like a lot of work, but trust me it's worth it. When you eat, you should be eating small portions. Roughly 60-70% carbs 20-30% fats and 10% of protein, this is because your body uses carbs to burn for energy. Using a high protein diet is bad. Protein is meant to recover your muscle and make them not be so sore. And the  fats are'nt suppose to make you fat, they are there because the body needs fat but not to much. So now tha dieting is out of the way, you should drink water every fifteen minutes when you work out . this is because your body needs to hydrate and restore electrolites. this is the only way that your body can keep going. Lots of sleep is also good and never starve yourself, wjat this does is make you hungry and when that happens your body notes that it might ot eat again for a while so it stores mostly fat and not the healthy and needed things. And when you work out just think don't cheat yourself treat yourself. and never think... oh this guy or girl in my class is soo fit and i'm not and i'll never be that way. thats negative and making you stressed out which causes to weight gain. And never care if someone else is doing better than you in a work out cause you never know if they have been the same way you are and fought their way to the top.

Well everyone, I'm 14 also, I weight about 190ish, I want to get to 140. Ive been trying since August 2010, I actually lost alott, bu tI gained it all back because of holidays, I'm currently on JennyCraig, I dont tell my friends... YEs, I'm shamed, but I also care about what i look like. I'm tryign to lose 40+ pounds in 2 months before summer, I knoe its extremly HARD to lose weight, btu honestly the best thing for you is to eat a good breakfaast, then veggies, and then just walk do some sort of exerise, and drink lots of water !

i am 14 years ols and i want to lose weight as bmy sister is 15 months older than me but weighs less than me. she is so annoying as she says i am fat all the time so that makes me want to lose weight. i am 14 nearly 15 and i weigh 8 and a half stone, i dont want my mam to find out as she will think it is stupid so i say to her i am taking the dog out for a walk but go out onto the field and jog around it for 30 minutes. when i come back i have a glassof orange and then go to bed. Also on a morning every fortnight i do my paper round on my bike for half an hour, i do a lot of P.E. at school and am not scared to join in with anything as am taking GCSE P.E. but this ecersise doesnt seen to be helping me in any way as i am not loseing the weight i want to so my sister can stop teasing me that i am fat. i just want something to do that isnt noticable to my sister or my mam that i can do without then susspecting anything. thanxs :)
