im 14 to and i weigh 235 but i used to weigh 255 i started walking my dogs one at a time . I also have 3 dogs but i don't go very far, i think stopping to pick up another dog helped cus it kinda gave my like a minute to rest.i lost alot of weight in like 3 weeks.

Hey all, im also 14 and i weigh 126 lbs. I hate how i can gain weight so fast and really wanna lose lbs, i've got a summer plan to lose approx 20 lbs and im going to run every day despite my location, plus I'm going to stop eating the popcorn, chips and pops that i do enjoy, my family doesnt really encourage this healthy eating, in fact my mom kinda says i'll fail at it but im destined to prove her wrong, so i could really use some help, what i've read so far is amazing and helpful and i have a hint.

Whenever you jump rope for 10 mins, its worth 1 hour of running.

Heyy. Im 14 years old and im 5'1. I weigh 136 pounds and iv tried everything. I went on diets, I do crazy excersize, usually swim team, tennis, golf, gym, P.E etc. and im not losing anything! i even tried starving myself which totally worked but when i started eatting again i gained weight like crazy! I drink lots of water and i live on vegetables, fruits, and white meat. I havent even had fast food in like a year in a half. What am i doing wrong! I want to get down to 115. Im tired of being the fattest of all my friends. HELP ME!!!

I'm 14 and I've been stuck on the last 4 pounds for six months! I was 121 and my goal is at least 110 too! I've been fluctuating from 114 (like right now) to 112 for the last two months! The lightest I've ever been is 111.2. I'm short, 5'1... but I think it shouldn't be this hard to loose weight! I work out for an hour and a half (cardio) then another 45 minuets with pilates (to stretch my muscles and build them, kind of like strength training).

My diet is primarily vegetables, fruits, lean or fatfree dairy, lean meats, and the only really bad carbs I consume are the occasional fatfree multigrain puffed cereal, fatfree popcorn, rice crackers, and fatfree frozen sorbet. I drink at least 48 ounces of water a day, plus green tea (to help with acne). I think I have a serious issue though... but I'm not sure.

Since I started "watching what I eat", I choose so carefully and I've been able to change my diet to become more natural and raw... but since I've started this new change, I've started over eating, and I feel it's drastic. They say 'Fill yourself with proteins that will keep you full,' but it never took care of the hunger in the beginning. Now that my body is being adjusted with this new protein shift, I'm actually becoming full from protein. However, I still over eat. For breakfast this morning I had a large banana, strawberries, fatfree yogurt, and dry cereal all mixed together. I thought I was full, but then my stomach began growling again. As I ate, it felt like I was full, but my brain is telling me I need to eat more. I'm so confused as to what my bodies telling me. I drank more water, trying to drown out the hunger, but it was still nagging at me... but I KNOW I should be full?

Is this binge eating? I'm so scared that it is... I know that binge eating is a serious health issue, but I think I do this because I limit myself so much, which makes me desperate to eat the foods I've actually chosen for myself. I actually seem to overeat often since I started a healthier lifestyle, which basically defeats the purpose, right? I feel like I've set myself up for failure by eating smaller portions more frequently throughout the day... it seems I need more, and more, and more. Has this ever happened to someone?

I know I'm doing everything right... but what are some good things to keep my insecure brain occupied? Chewing gum didn't work because it increases in insulin in the stomach because of the sugar, making me even hungrier. Drinking too much water can make me feel sick (water intoxication), and not eating leaves me miserable because I do what I'm doing right now. I lay awake at night and just obsess over the pain in my stomach, but I do it to be "skinny", though I know my body type will never allow this until I'm maybe 94-104. I just obsess over it, and it sounds pathetic and unreasonable, but I feel guilty all of the time because I either overeat, or starve myself. I guess it takes it's toll.

Does this need mental evaluation?

i'm 14 and i weigh like 235 pounds.. my whole family is big and it's hard to go on a diet with everyone else eating all the food i'm used to eating. whether or not i'm comfortable with myself you can see by the numbers that i need to lose weight, badly. can anyone help me with how much i should work out, nothing too hard because i'd like to work my way up before just starting out with the hardest thing ever.

hi am 14 and i weight 9.5 stons which i find over wieght bt my friendz dnt i use to be fatter thn tht the only thing there is jst to continue ur 30minutes walk 20 sit ups evry day morning and n8 u'll be fine trust me and oh healthy diet.
