Hi guys . Im 14 and weigh 151.6 pounds going gang into 9th grade and want to lose a couple of pounds and strengthen my muscles for volleyBall tryouts August 14th . Ibknowbthats such little time but it's worth a try :) yesterday I went walking forlike 10mins but today I played Zumba on for 1 hour . & I felt good . But there's one problem .... Everytike I do an physical activity now by lower back starts to hurt and cramp . But it's nonapp period .... Hey guys i am 14 years old as well and i weigh 198lbs i really sucks every now and then i think about going on a diet but about 2 days later my mom just brings junk food back in and at one time i was losing weight but i got back into gaining :( i understand most of the things to do and i try to do it but the reason mainly i want to lose weight is because i dont like it when people stare at me and i dont think anybody really sees me as pretty i think they see me as fat. When i was little i was skinny i just dont understand why i am fat now. I also just dont think i fit in. The lowest i have lost from the resent diets is 189 lbs i wish i can do it again. At the age of 14 if you weigh 256 pounds maybe,then it is a matter of concern.First of all you have to consider your diet.Prepare yourself a healthy diet plan,there is no need to starve yourself,all that you have to do is eat right,eat healthy.Ask your parents or you may be consult a dietitian.Also start doing exercise,go out and play or opt for outdoor games if you have to. Do not sit in front of the television or a computer through the day.Staying outdoors really help you lose calories.Keep a tab on your calorie count and i feel you should be quite fit by the year end.

I'm 14 ( 15 in november ) and i weigh like 200 pounds. Terrible, i know. So anyways, On monday i'll be starting 9th grade and i really really really dont want to go into high school like this. I have a 16 year old sister and shes in 11th grade and she starved herself for like 3 months and she still kinda does. She lost alot of weight by doing that so now shes way smaller than me. I cant go to high school with my older sister thats smaller than me! She weighs like 145 or something so I've started not eating anything and if i do eat, i eat yogurt or something. I'm considering being homeschooled you know like on the computer by connections academy. So I cold go to the gym everyday, and like that a jog in the morning. I found this really great gym, its called Total Women Fitness. But its in alameda and i live in oakland so my mom would have to drive me there everyday. Also the membership is really expensive. I just went shopping yesterday and i bought these 2 pairs of jeans, one old navy brand and one lucky jeans brand. Both size 14, they didnt even fit. I'm like dying over here. How am i supposed to get clothes if nothing fits! I cant get a bigger size because then my mom will see that im a bigger size and then eventually my sister will find out and like find ways to rub it in my face that shes smaller than me. My life sucks right now. If im home schooled than I wont really have any friends, but i would lose a bunch of weight and eventually be my goal weight which is 130 pounds by the end of next summer. So that means i would have to lose 70 pounds in 7 months. I mean I'll even settle with 140 or something by 10th grade and then ill just keep losing weight. Please help what should i do ?? Be home schooled and eventually become skinny or go to oakland tech and be embaressed that im so fat. Help asap, the first day of school at Oakland Tech is august 26, and homeschooling starts on september 6. help please! xo

Hey! I'm 14 too. I'm currently 232.5 pounds I weigh myself everyday. But I'm also trying extremely hard to lose weight!!! My body doesn't cooperate when it comes to dieting and exercise. So I became I vegetarian. So far, not much going well. I barely eat and I walk a whole lot!!! But It'd be great if anyone gave me some good tips to boost up my metabolism because I swear mine is the slowest in the universe! :'(

Hey all:) My suggestion is to find other ways to eat REAL Food. A couple movies to check out are Hungry for Change, Food Matters, and Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. All give you incredible info about proper nutrition. Starving your self is terrible as I am sure you all know. Stay away from anything that is processed. Good quality Meats and all the veggies you want will make a big difference. Lots of water, movement and laughter:) Take each day as it comes and don't beat yourself up. It takes time, dedication, persistence and a good support team. Stay positive and keep at it:)

I'm 14 too. 20 push-ups and 50 press-ups helps a lot. I was 58kg last 2 months. just drink a lot more water bro. 10 push ups and 20 press ups per day and you will see the results. good luck

Hey, I'm 14 too and I weigh about 160lbs. I don't really exercise or eat the most healthy foods but I maintain my weight and lose pretty fast when I want to. Te key is actually just walking and drinking water! Since we are young, weight loss is pretty hard but walking for 20-25 minutes a day helps you lose weight gradually over a period of time. I walk with my schoolbag on for about half an hour every day and I noticed improvements in about a week. Also, make sure you drink water! 8 cups a day keeps you hydrated and fresh. Hope this helped!

I'm 9 And I Weigh About 80. I'm The Skinniest Girl In School! The Trick Is To Get Up Early To Exercise Around 6 AM. Eat Some Toast With Jam Or Something, Have An Energy Drink (That Isn't Fizzy) And Have A Run About! And For Dinner, Try Have A Salad And A Piece Of Fruit. For Tea Try Have Salad, Veg, Water,And Maybe Some Chicken. For Dessert ( If You Have It ) Try Have Some Berry And Banana Blended Together To Make A Smoothie! Its Delicious And Healthy AND Helps You Lose Weight To!
