I only took the shot once and I've been trying for my second for 4 years now and I'm unable to get pregnant ;( it makes me upset that I can't conceive. My husband tell me everything will be fine and we'll get pregnant soon. But year after year I'm convinced its the shot!
i took the depo shot for about a year i gained alot of weight, starting getting hair in places i never had.. i took it for 14-15 i am now 25 and honestley have been trying since i quit taking it. i mean i have me surts where i want one then i give up and dont ever believe it will happen been married for almost 7 yrs now and i am 25 and still have not children.... please please dont take the depo.

Been on Depo for 4 yearz, my latest due date was on July 22 bt I ddnt go. Da rzn y I decided to stop was bcz of all da weight I'm gaining and da cellulite all ova my body, I had lost intrest in sex totally and I have horrible mood swingz.
It's really heartbreaking isn't it :( I came off depot 18months ago and have just got married. We have been trying for our first child since I came off it ...and nothing. The Dr blamed me,saying that I should have known what I was taking! I have now ended up constantly depressed and crying :(::::::

Me too! Was on depo 2 years been off for 2 and 1/2 and cannot get prego. I hope to god I'm not sterile :(
Well 4 years ago I was on the shot for 2 years prior to that and I got off in May 2010. My first period came back in July 2010. I found out I was pregnant in August 2010. So yes it is possible to get pregnant right away it just depends on the woman.

After I had my 2nd child I went onto the depo as I didn't want to have another child, the doctors/nurses said that if I wanted another child one day to just "come off the depo and wait a few months for it to clear out of my system...its been 7+ years since and I still haven't been able to get pregnant... I wish I had never gotten on the depo in the first place...its honestly wrecked my chances of having another child

I am not joking but this depo shot needs to be banned I can't believe the amount of people who are struggling to get pregnant I haven't been on any contraception and I'm never pregnant !!!!!! I don't even take tests because I know I won't be it is very messed up. I pray for all of us
I know this is old , but this is my exact situation , I had my daughter at 15 so I was forced to get on depo , now I've gained alot of weight & cannot get pregnant !!

My niece bought a cleanse to rest her fertility. I dont remember the name. But u mix it with water an drink it about 2 weeks to cleanse your body an she now has a baby. Hope this helps
U said the key thing… U took it for 2 yrs. If u research it, your only suppose to take Depo 2 years an no more. look it up. So it may have cause some underlying health issues for some women…
