Hello Cindy! I am only 13 and am developing it too.... I started reading about it and then saw this! Turns out you can: pluck, shave, wax, or laser remove them! I'm actually about to try waxing them! P.S. You will NEVER look like an ape! I'm 100% sure that u will not look like an ape! If ppl make fun of u, they aren't smart enough to see past ur looks! Good luck!
You sound very adult for a 12 year old, and 12 years sounds very early for breast-hair, so if you're not real, you should not write here because you're so not helping Cindy or any of us who suffer from hirsutism. I wrote already here some weeks ago in order to support Cindy. I went through it all myself, including facehair and male pattern alopecia. At some point you just give up and let it happen.
Dear Cindy, how are you and how are your breasts developing?

Thank you for taking my defense. You're right. This person cant understand. Hair is in your way whatever you try to do. My sister cries a lot. She's being made fun at at school. It's a shame because she's developing beautiful breasts but she sees mine melting away and she's afraid that it will happen to her too. Her hair is growing fast anyway. I've seen the doctor again for my breasts. She doesn(t know what to say and we'll have to wait how it will be going.
A small update concerning my sister who asked me to keep up the posts she wants to have her hairgrowth documented the way mine was. Here's what we counted this morning: 99 left, 89 right, 94 between her breasts (counting those with some length but there are a lot of small hairs everywhere getting darker and larger). She's developing hairs between her eyebrows too. As for me, I believe my breasts stay more or less the way they were, but I am developing face hair, in the corners over my upperlip and under my chin, which I pluck out.
It sucks.
It sucks.
Poor Cindy I feel completely with you and your sis. Me and my own sis have undergone the same ordeal and like you I've counted the hairs and freaked out more than once. I hadn't done it in years but I did this morning when I read this discussion, for you in a way. Both my areolas, which are rather small, are surrounded by a thick circle of hair, but unlike you I have only very little hair between the breasts but there is kind of a trail down to my navel which has his own circle and I've got a triangle of hair beneath my navel and a definite hairtrail down to my pubic hair. I arrive at 43 hairs between the breasts plus 23 which make out the trail down to the navel, 134 around my left areola and 101 around my right. My sis has hair in the same places but only maybe half of what I got. Like you I have some face hair too but nothing serious and I never experienced any problems with hair loss but I'm only 27 so it might still happen to me for all I know. I've got an aunt whose hair started seriously thinning in her mid-30ies. Good luck.
Thanks for the support. I hope we will both be spared hairloss.
This morning we counted my sister's hairs. The circles around her areolas are extending towards the middle of her chest but there's still no connection with the hair between her breasts. Around her right areola and on her right breast we counted 112, around her left one and on her left breast 131, and 114 between her breasts. She's not even 15! I looked at my figures, last time I counted mine, and I noticed that she was catching up, definitely, but still when comparing myself with her, she seemed to have so much less hairs. This worried me so I counted mine, which I hadn't done in a long time. I was completely mistaken. I thought my hairs had stopped growing but actually I simply didn't notice they were growing. There are A LOT more. On my right side there are more or less (I didn't manage to count them exactly) 250 hairs, on my right side it's near to 400, in the middle 160. I'm devastated.

Together with my parents we took the decision that I have laser removal. It will be very long sessions but I cant stand the hair any longer. I was totally depressed after last months count. The doctor told us that usually he would advise to wait until the hairgrowth definitely stopped but that in my case we could go for it immediately. My sister wants to wait and see how she will end, knowing that she could get it removed also in the end. Her latest figures are : right 119, left 145, middle 133, and the first hairs beneath her navel.
Hi.Keeping up this diary. 2 weeks ago I had my first laser session. There was a nurse who cut my hairs very short and who told me that they do actually a lot of chesthair and that they have a severe case like mine every month or so and that it usually is a big success. She felt sorry for my sagging breasts too but thought I had just beautiful areolas (they have become less puffy, as if the fat loss in my breasts also affects them, but they're still swollen to some extent, so they look very soft actually, less "fully blown up"). All that felt very comforting and she cut my hairs really carefully and when she touched my areolas they got hard and my nipples appeared and got erect and they stayed that way during the whole session. I felt slightly embarrassed but she again made me feel very comfortable by telling me that's exactly what she thinks is so beautiful with areolas like mine namely that the nipple is usually not visible but only appears as a surprise like that. The session itself was considerably shorter than I thought, only a few minutes. Afterwards I felt like burnt and I got some ice to put on my skin and later my skin was actually red. Noting more happened, but now the hairs have started to fall out, I've already lost at least 2/3 of them. Of course they will grow back and I will need other sessions, but it's so good to be rid of them. I felt completely transformed, like restored to my true self. Now there's still the sagging problem to be adressed. But for the time I feel already relieved.
As for my sister, especially now that she knows that she can get rid of it all, she wants to see how hairy she's going to really be. On har, we count only the hairs which are longer, not the small ones which turn dark, because they will grow longer also. Right: 121, left: 150, middle: 156. I probably separated them slightly differently last time. Anyway. She's also got 10 hairs below her navel. Her upperlip is darkening too and her unibrow is developing. Weirdest thing: it kind of makes her beautiful!

Hi. I had my second laser session and my body is responding really well to it. for the first time in years my chest is completely hairfree. In a few weeks some will have come back (after my first session it looked as if almost all had regrown, but the doctor says that's normal). I rediscover my body and above all my breasts and my areolas and I feel beautiful. Now I want to go on a diet in order to loose a few pounds even if this will probably make my breasts sag even more.
Over the last months I have also developed a regular lady-mustache. The nurse said they will take care of that later.
As for sis it has been a busy 6 weeks for her hairs: right 142, left 177, middle 161. 24 hairs below her navel.

Hi Cindy. Good luck to you. I had laser done when I turned 18, chest and face. It took 6 sessions. Afterwards only very few hair grew back on my chest which I plucked out for a year until they didn't come back. Now I'm 23. Occasionnally there is a hair which starts to grow and for old times sake I have let them do so for some time now. So I've got 3 hairs on my right and 11 on my left breast, all on the inner side of the areola strangely enough, but that's ok. As for hairloss (since I've read you mention that in your earlier posts) I have none so far but my elder sister who has only a small circle of hairs around each areola and only needed laser for her face-hair started having thinning hair in her early 20ies so I'm prepared to suffer from it. But then, our mum had severe hormonal balance problems following her pregnancies and she lost a lot of hair.
Thanks for your post. Hairloss. I don't really want to think about it, but I am told to be prepared for it, sure enough! Laser sessions 3 and 4 are done with. My body still responds very well to it. After session 3 less than a hundred hairs came back on each breast.
We counted my sister's hair this morning but it will probably be the last time because it takes too much time. They still grow fast on her: right 171, left 215, middle 170, and below her navel there are now 62 hairs, a trail going down all the way to her pubic hair.

Wow. I never knew it could get THAT bad! Me and my sister have grown nipple hair, it started earlier than yours, together with pubic hair, when we were 12/13. We both have complete circles around the areolas, maybe 40-50 hairs on each boob. They grow close to the areola, with some hairs up to 1 cm away from it, but we have small areolas (less than 2 cm wide) so it's a pretty thick circle. Only my sister has a few hairs further away towards the middle of her chest on her left boob. We are both somewhat on the masculine side, small breasts, little of a waist. As for the rest of the hair, we have a light mustache (my sister has quite noticeable hairs in the corners above her upper lip, I have only darker vellus hair) and a few hairs in between our eyebrows over the nose (again my sister is tending more towards the unibrow than I am) and we started having thinning hair at the beginning of our twenties but it never was really dramatic, it's only that there is less volume and the parting is larger. Good luck!
The monthly update. After session 4, I had 34 hairs on my right and 40 on my left breast. The progress is stunning. I had session 5 last Friday and the nurse says that maybe 1more session will be enough. They also did a 1. session on my upper lip. It's really new hope for a normal life!!
Fortunately still nothing to say about the hair on my head but I'm constantly thinking about going bald.
My sis: right 173, left 223, middle 170, and below her navel there are now 76 hairs. It's as if the chest hair stops more or less and mainly the belly hairs grow. Wait and see.

I think I've beaten it!! So far no hair has grown back after my last session. I've got a smooth chest!!! It's great!!!!! They've done a 2. session on my upperlip and will stop it for the time being at that. As for the chin hairs, I just pluck them out, there are not that many. But now the sagging problem needs to be adressed. I have lost maybe half of my breast volume, even my areolas are not puffy anymore but emptied and with too much flesh remaining. But the doctor says I should definitely wait the end of the evolution. I'm also afraid the hairloss on my head finally started. I've got the impression that there are many more hairs in the shower and in my brush. I hope I'm wrong.
Sister: left 226, right 174 middle 184, below the navel 88 hairs, plus there's a triangle of hairs forming on the lower part of her belly, above what used to be the limit of her pubic hair. There are not so many hairs so far, but we suppose that it is spreading the way it does on her inner thighs. She's developing a very different approach to it from what I felt. She's definitely finished crying because of it. She's not so happy with her face- and breasthair but still wants to see the result without interfering, but she actually likes her pubic hair. She feels it protects her in a way.

Hair is back :( There's a new circle forming around my areola. I went to the doctor who says it's rare but it happens especially in the places where there were the most hairs. For the moment I'm letting them grow in order to see where I'm going.
On my head I think I'm definitely into hairloss. So far I don't see a change but there are really many hairs in my brush.
My sister has finally started shaving her breasthair except for those closest to the areola. There she plucks some out leaving maybe half. It's actually nice-looking in a way. She says she likes the soft touch of them.
