I am not happy with the results. It didn't do much (in my opinion) to make me look more youthful. I'm still swollen and bruised and I was off work until January 2, 2007 and I had to return to work. I called today (1/3/07) and wanted to get my stitches out two days early because my skin is growing around them and they told me (over the phone) that they weren't ready to come out yet and to keep my regular appointment on Friday (1/5/07). To go back to work (is their claim) the next day, is totally false (in my opinion). There was no way I could go back to work the next day. I was on pain medication for 4 days.
I felt like the Atlanta office wasn't organized and not very professional or informative about the actual results. It's all about the selling game. And if you tick them off, they definitely are not going to be helpful.
I would strongly suggest checking with a regular doctor of plastic surgery to see if the Life style procedure would be a good one for you. I wish I had researched it more before I did this.
I also had the lifestyle lift in December. My face has not healed yet. I have contacted mthe Denver office where this was done
and in stead of trying to help me or being concerned, they brushed me aside. I have huge scars and still have pain. Gail
I have not healed well. I did Everything they said to heal. The Dr. yelled out that he hit a blood vessell at the bvery beginning. They were carterizing for q long time /When i left i had huge tubes hanging from both sids of my face, which I had not been told about.
They never have admitted they made mistakes or have been wanting to help. When I called up last month with the situation, the disacredited what I was saying and were angry with ME!
My medical Dr. has never seen such sloopy stitching and huge gaps between skin as he did on the sides of my face at the beginning and for many months. I went to the Denver ofc. They never told me about tubes and stitching.
I am very unhappy . All people see are these big unhealed scars.
Me too. I had mine done several months ago and I'm still struggling. I should have done my homework and research as well, not to mention the amount of money it cost to have it done. While the procedure takes less than 1 hour, getting your life back after the procedure takes much longer and I don't remember them advising me of this when I was consulted. I also don't see much of a change either. They are overrated and you over pay, a real darn shame.
with any surgery stitches come out 7 to 10 days post op or when the doctor says so not when the patient wants it and do your home work before you have any procedure done , for once every patient is healing at a different pace and bruising in part has a lot to do with surgery but also with the bleeding time of the patient ,especially if on blood thinners ............aspirin,coumadin and the diet they were on preop, also age the tho more bleeding and swelling ..............before we critic we need facts ,im not a plastic surgeon or a patient but listen QUICK FIX MOST OF THE TIME DOES NOT WORK ,so embrace what God gave you or take risks and if is not working you as a patient need to take some of the responsability or blame YOU TOOK THAT RISK too:-)
Thank goodness my cardiologist said I must not have epinephrine, so that rules out all procedures at Lifestyle Lift except the fractionated laser tx. I had that four days ago and I have much bleeding and blistering of my face, I can't believe this. It is of course supposed to heal into smooth and supple tissue but - right now very painful. I continue to slather my face in Vaseline, and take pain pills and antibiotics. I'm glad I escaped without the surgrical lift and stitches.
