Hi nonyabiz, I too had this problem recur severally even after antibiotic cocktail treatment ( 2 antibiotics taken together). The painful pimples didn't go away. I researched this widely and only one thing has worked for me so far. It's now one month long and I have no pimples. I simply changed my diet. Try avoiding foods with gluten and this may work for you. These food products contain gluten: wheat, rye and barley. I know I sound strange but this is the only thing that has worked for me so far. If you want to heal the boil faster, try using over the counter silver from cvs pharmacy. Use a itchthamol salve to draw pus out and then clean it and apply silver on a bandaid. It will heal very fast. The main secret may lie in the food you eat. This has changed my life.

I had the same issue and after reading this post, it made me feel a lot better. Mine ended up being 3 cm deep, probably the diameter of a silver pancake. It was big and happened within a few days. I finally saw a doctor today, he drained it, put an injection inside as well. Needless to say, it really really hurt. I was told it was from consuming too much alcohol and soft drinks.

This is the best solution ever. Take one clove of fresh garlic and fold it in a small piece of cotton cloth and crush the garlic and sqeeze out the garlic juice and apply it to the acne. You'll see that the acne dies down within a day or two.

I also get them large pimple under the skin it itches the first few days and if you scratch it it seeps clear liquid . I lately have been sitting a lot. That must be the reason. I don't worry about them anymore and have found if I leave it alone it goes away in about a week. If I did put anything on I would put honey on. That's what they put on my moms bed sore.
