okay well i have it too, but im not a virgin. im pretty darn sure its my cervix, because i went to google images and looked up the word 'cervix' and it seemed to be it. its a large lump that isnt on the wall of my vagina. if you were to take a finger and stick it all the way up (going straight) once you reached the end of the vagina you would hit it. when i touch it, it doesnt give me pleasure and it doesnt hurt, but its just kinda weird. i didnt feel it getting hit during sex either. so im pretty sure its the cervix. :)
i have discovered the same 'lump', about a fingers deep in, and feels kind of numb.. %-)
ive never felt it before, ive come on my period now, and someone said it moves lower down when your on, so maybe thats why i noticed it yesterday?

Well i of course am trying to figire out the same question and where does or menstral flow come out of.I have the lump inside to so i am guessing that it is nothing to worry about.Only because every woman that has talked about it is talking about that same parts.So i wouls say that we should all start asking our Doctors these questions when we go in for our check ups.I mean we are paying them to check us and to answer all of our questions that we may have so go for it.Alot of us woman go into our Doctor and hurry up and get out or we are embarressed to ask these kids of questions.If you are truly scared then bring a friend they is a little more out spoken and have her ask the questions for you.Either way we need all our important questions answer so i am on it the first chance i get.Good luck.
Ladies, the hard lump deep inside your vagina near your anus is your cervix. It has a small opening and sensitive to prodding. Google it if you must, but dont cry cancer unless your doctor has told you so.
Is it a swollen lymph node from germs or infection in that area of your body? Maybe try a lymph node cleanse to see if that helps or clean yourself with a less irritating cleanser.

OK .. THIS IS YOUR CERVIX 1000000% IF YOU HAD CANCER YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FEEL IT. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.. MY PARTNER FINGERED ME AND HE FELT IT AND ASKED ME TO FEEL IT.. WHEN I PUSH MY FINGER DEEP INTO MY VIGINA ITS LIKE A BIG LUMP AND ITS HARD.. SO I WENT TO GET IT CHECKED OUT . ITS UR CERVIX AND IT IS NORMAL! Okay... i'm 15 and im currently sexually active. I found the larger bumb, and i can assure you its not cancer or anything, but today, i found a smaller bumb on the other (around the size of a BB) and now i am afraid i might be pregnant, because i had sex around a week ago. Please help me. I'm really scared.

I'm 17 and i've been having sex for over a year now in a relationship.
I started looking on the internet, because i'm having this lump to! Its on the back wall of my vagina, about a finger in almost like its sticking out downwards from the back wall, its completely numb like it has no nerves or anything, its about 2 fingers wide but i cant feel the top most bit connected to the top, only the bottom as my finger wont go in far enough, i can run my finger all the way around it and when i push it with my nail i can't feel any pain, mine hasnt bled at all but im worried if its suppose to be there at all! And like a previous post, its got like a bit on the end which is like an indent in the top :| Im getting mine check out next week at a sexual health clinic by a nurse so i shall repost with what they say!

Just found it and I was sooo scared. I was crying because I was sure I had already got some sort of horrible cancer and I'm only 14. Well it sounds like it is only the cervix and I googled a picture of it and it definatly feels like what I can see on the image. It really pissed me off though because they don't teach us about this stuff in sex ed class. Thinking about it they never even mentioned whats the cervix was! I think they really need to put stuff like that in the sex ed classes! Then we wouldn't be having all these horrible problems!
Wow. The schools are failing our youth. Ladies, after, but preferably BEFORE you have sex, you should learn about your bodies. Learn about mens' bodies too. Take some responsibility. If your sex-ed class didn't teach you about yourself, go to the library, look online, LEARN. Don't be afraid to get in touch with yourself either; if you regularly check yourself then you know when something is different and can speak to your doctor or nurse. Don't be afraid that they'll think you're stupid or will judge you; they've heard and seen it all before. For those of you concerned about a man's penis having trouble entering your vagina because of the "lump", it is most probably your cervix, at the end of your vagina, which will lengthen during sexual arousal and have no problem accommodating a penis. Besides, most of them aren't that big anyway. ;) Also, before you have sex you should teach your partner about the female body so he knows what's what too.
