I have the same thing and after many tests at Mayo hey told me is was degenerative arthritis- SO DO NOT WORRY till you are sure you have something to worry about. Good luck
I am sorry I forgot to come back & let all know that it was "only" degenerative arthritis. My doctor has placed notes in my annual checkup file to visually/tactically recheck the growth each year. I have been instructed that I am to contact my doctor if it grows or becomes painful to the touch or feels hot. I am glad to report that there is no chance that the lump will become cancerous. I was also told that this "growth" does not mean I will get similar growths on any other bones affected by the arthritis.
Finally, I had no pain, nor does it hurt when touched normally. However, I have had shoulder pain for years on the same side. Doc says it's a guess that this site may have referred pain to the shoulder, since my shoulder is arthritic & has a past rotator cuff injury. Guest is right. Don't worry ahead of time & have it checked out immediately for your peace of mind!
Glad to hear that- it is not the best thing to have but it's not going to kill us!! I have a son dealing with stage 4 cancer so this seems a "little" thing in comparison
And if the lump is on the right side, no pain, bit of discomfort with a few breathing problems
Not sure what to say......found a lump on my collar bone three days ago. Seems to me it is getting larger each day. Googled it and most responses said it was of no concern if on the left side. Mine is on the right side.
My collarbone cist was repeatedly misdiagnosed by several surgeons.FINALLY I went to a CHINESE DOCTOR...he explained to me that the lump cist tumor on my clavicle collarbone is phlegm...toxic mucous buildup...that he is now treating with gerbal.medicibe successfully...get a second opinion from someone nit making money from surgery or cancerexpensive treatments...lits if doctors are scammers looking to maje money

I also have a lump on my right collarbone and I haven't gotten it checked out yet
I've had a lump on my collar bone for about a year. Dr. sent me for an ultra scan and it seems that it is osteoarthritus. Hope this helps.
Hi Patricia, I know it's been a year since you posted your concern on a lump you found on your collar bone. What was the diagnosed your doctor gave you? I too just discovered a lump on my collar bone and have had a little trouble swallowing here and there. I didn't put the two together until I read your comment. I hope all went well for you.

Sharon, I have many questions! I had OC also. Had treatment and now have a large painless boney growth on my clavicle. What stage was your OC? What treatment did you have? How ling after treatment did you notice thus problem? Thanks so much.
