headaches are not caused by marijuana withdrawl, .and marijuana cannot cause **psychotic episodes. you cannot be addicted to marijuana!!! marijuana gives you what they call, pschological addiction, better known as a habbit. dont pretend to be all knowing when chances are youve smoked pot 1, maybe 2 times?

Chris_mcdonald maybe u should read the rest of the conversation and look properly at what iv said and youll see im not all knowing nor do i pretend to be, i know full well you cannot be addicted physically to weed and its all in your head. Headaches and phsycotic episodes are a result of how a "human" CAN react to marijuana. It quite simply doesnt agree with some people, or those people freak themselves out and phsych themselves in to it. As u clearly have not noticed i have suggested links to websites that may help, not just pushed my opinion on someone.

Now get off your high horse, stop picking on people trying to help and post something that maybe interesting or useful to people looking for answers. BTW as also previously mentioned, i smoke habitually.

Guys and girls. You should go to a medic to be checked for cervical spondylosis or other spine affections. It can be an internal ear problem too. So check it fast because it can be a huge problem in both cases.

I have the same problem literally exactly and Im pretty sure its the marijuana cause I smoke like 4 to 5 times a day everyday and I stopped for two weeks and the head aches went away and as soon as I started smoking again the headaches and pulses came back. sooooo... But I also rolled really damn hard for the first time 3 weeks ago so idk it could be that too

thats not true, studies have suggested that cannabis does not damage brain cells and infact may be involved in neuro-genesis (the production of new brain cells) though the exact mechanism isnt yet fully understood.

I'm 17 and I've quit for about a month now and just yesterday I had a headache in between a migraine and a tension headache , Idont what brought me here maybe a wild guess but is this normal? I've been smoking pot every day since I was 13.

A lot of headaches are also caused by tension, poor posture, sleeping incorrectly, heavy backpack or handbag. I smoke a daily (a few daily) doses of outdoor only I get headaches some days sometimes every day, sometimes a migraine bit it's usually tension or dehydration that has caused it, indoor gives me BAD headaches and a bongover.

No. There shouldn't be any immediate or severe problem. I have been diagnosed with OCD and have taken Zoloft for it for long periods of time in the past while also smoking a few time per week. There is no direct drug interaction, however, Marijuana will depress your system and I have noticed from my personal use, that I often do have a mild feeling of depression/exhaustion in the morning after smoking the night before. I believe that although there are no immediate drug interactions, smoking will interfere with effectiveness of the Zoloft in the long run.

I think this could be related to cluster headaches, depending on the severity. It could also be migraines which are triggered by not getting enough sleep (or good quality sleep) which commonly happens when you smoke before bed as THC will interfere with normal sleep patterns. If you're a snacker, you made be eating chocolate, cheese or other food which trigger migraine. Likely, you have underlying migraines and the smoking has exacerbated that tendency.

i am 26 years old, have been smoking sincei was 17, on and off. but recently more on. and i get these headaches, i LOVE the POWER i get from weed, i can sing do stuff jerk , everything ,but not the headaches. if we could only HARNESS that POWER, and throw away the headaches, then that would be the future. go colorado. personally i think its the thc  amount, its too much in todays skunk weed. i mean smell it, it smells like a chemical sewer. in weed there are over 60 cannabinoids and they each have a different purpose, if you put one out of balance then that might result in for example , headaches. well thats just my theory, we all have to HOPE and PRAY that it will be legalized, otherwise we will have to get high on that STREET sh*t forever.

peace alex

does weed damage the brain cells?

No, it is in fact the only narcotic that does not Damage brain cells. In one U.S. study they suffocated monkeys with cannabis smoke so they could get the brain cells to show damage. It would take ingesting 1500 lbs of cannabis to be lethal. Table salt, whole milk ect... are worse for you thin weed.

im 13 and i started about 11-12 months ago...

i did it every weekend for half a year and the past 4 months i have had it on weekdays aswell after school. i have been in trouble with police with it but it doesn't stop me, should it? last weekend i brought a draw+a 10z.. i spend so much money on it! My mum thinks shes giving me the money for random stuff but its all on weed/alcohol/fags? Should i stop because im starting to get headaches+ i think i have got lot uglier... I had counslillin about it, without my parents knowing but the woman said it oesnt sound like you want to stop?

I want to stop, coz i dont wanna ruin my body+end up being a druggie with no money-_- but i love the feeling, everyone around me does it and i forget my problems! and i hear all these songs saying 'still smoking sticky'+'f**k feds never stop weed blow' and it sounds like they arent effected...

but the real question is, is that should i stop if i like it that much? be trueful.. dont just go with the law, be trueful

ya same here.... onl;y reason i am on here is because i have a ripper headache, and this was the first link on google.  i only get headaches... actually i think they are migraines because my eyelids hurt and light hurts. but i have been smoking probably more than bob marley.  i smoke every day, and i smoke only concentrates... about a gram of concentrate a day... and i am only 20. now i blame my constant marijuana hash use because i had a semi hard upbringing as a child.  I kinda sucks now though... i mean hash is amazing but to tell you the truth it kinda controls me now.  like i always have to be high... idk tho its really not that bad.  but ya i have been getting bad headaches or migraines just right when i wake up.. then it kinda goes away.   its not like if i stop for a few days i will freak out or anything though like benzzo withdrawal. from my experience weed is all psychological... its all in your head... if only i can kick these dang headaches...
