Hey! So I was wondering , do you have any other symptoms ? I have been very sick and got to the point of no appetite and not eating. I recently had my blood tested for celiac and it came back positive. With celiac you're totally intolerant to gluten. I also have IBS on top of it. Go to the dr and see if you have any food allergies. Maybe you're lactose intolerant or can't handle gluten . Usually you have digestive symptoms with these.

Have any of you inquired about "abdominal migraines" with your doctor? My 15 yr old son suffers from CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome), and every morning he wakes up with sever stomach pain, sometimes massive headache and when his episode is really bad, he vomits for hours on end. He has had these attacks since he was four. At first it was a handful of times a year. Then puberty came and the frequency was monthly. Now it is almost daily to where I can not get him to school. Most days if he is able to sleep till noon or later he then doesn't feel so bad. He is currently on Cyproheptadine and going to acupuncture a couple times a week. It has been a long road and hoping that something will finally give. When CVS is explained, they will refer to it as similar to an abdominal migraine. I am not sure if any of this is helpful. I wish you all the best, as this sickness is quite draining to the patient and the caretakers.

I have always had a very sensitive stomach since I was a kid. Almost every morning I wake up from stomach pain, but not excruciating and don't feel nauseous usually. I'm female , in my 40' weigh 144 normal weight. I'm also going through bit of depression as,well. My doctor told me to lay off milk to see if it's just lactose intolerance issue. But I did that so I'm taking more tests ton see what problem and hopefully the cause. Someone mentioned Metamucil or Benefiber? I'm about to start taking this everyday now. Also I wanted to mention that dehydration not drinking enough water every day. I did some research on dehydration & abdominal pain. It causes stomach pain, fever, diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, nausea, and constipation and even death. My Dr. also said my bloodwork had high potassium, this can also be due to dehydration. I don't think I have acid reflux, but might have more acidy stomach than other folks. Next thing I'm going to do an MRI and drink white chalky liquid (Barrium) I think its called and go from there. My whole heart goes out all of the stories I'm hearing now. IT SOUNDS like a total nughtmare!! In my sole opinion and esp.experience with doctors and medical professionals in general. I've found them to be arrogant, impatient, somewhat patronizing, belittling, placating, RUSHED, and overall not that effective in finding out the sources to so many minor problems, like stomach pain. Instead it seems all they care about is preventiingredients big things like Cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, etc. Ito very frustrating & can be disheartening also. Also so many are not well enough informed about a topic but give advice anyway. That is wrong and why there so many malpractice law suits happening today I guess. Im glad I found this link. :)

Have your doc check you for median arcuate ligament syndrome.

Ulcers is probably the culprit for anyone experiencing long term daily morning (empty) tummy aches. Get checked! Happened to me at 26. :-(

I know this is old but I am having the EXACT same problem.. I have been to the hospitals countless times. Did you ever figure out what was wrong?

I've had this for as long as I can remember. I just tell people. I can't just wake up and jump out of bed. I have to lie there for a bit and let my stomach settle, or I get extremely nauseous if I fly out of bed in the morning. Never been a breakfast eater because of the upset stomach most mornings. Crazy. I just thought it was kinda a normal thing. That I just wasn't a morning person.

I am having the exact same problem. Have you found a way to handle or help with the pains. I am around your age and just wanted to ask and maybe find out what’s going on.

Hi.

6ft (183cm)
160 lbs (kg?)
30 yr old.

I have discomfort in the morning in the stomach.
I feel hungry, but cant eat because then I also feel bad.
After a couple hours, I start eating, and the rest of the day I feel great.

Sometimes going to washroom helps,
I also have minor shaking and small anger.

I stopped eating acidic foods, because they made it worse.
My appetite has fallen (I was 175 pounds before).

Health is other wise good, no anxiety, no drugs, etc.

Wish I could find an answer to this.

Ive been through a very similar situation, and my fathers stomach is the same as mine. DIet is an enormous part in managing my stomach. No coffee, no cigs, nothing that throws your ph off in an unaccountable direction. Microbes are your best friend. Add a few extra enzymes to your diet. You will have an easier time digesting food. Kombucha helps me a ton
