just want to add - the above post was a reply to an earlier reply - and not a reply to the OP (who is no longer a 16 year old girl - as quite a bit of time has passed).

No doctor is going to put a teen on an obesity diet plan to lose 20 lbs.

Drink prune Juice and water only for about 3 weeks Coffee, prune juice and tea are natural laxatives and Water flushes fat
Ensure shakes are good to because they can help you maintain a healthy muscle weight. Boil your veggies don't soak them in butter and salt. You have to control your mind and tell yourself that you won't snack and you don't need it. I mean nothing no snacks no candy nothing. Eat one meal a day and make it healthy choice or something else with less then 1,500 calories. Within 3 weeks you should be down to a size 120 or less. You have to eat so stuff with no Carbohydrates and calories is good as far as solid foods go. Take Vitamins so you don't become week and anorexic.

I forgot I created this account. I can say that after a lot of research and designing my own diet I have successfully lost 41 pounds. I started going to the gym (it didn't hurt that a close friend is a personal trainer). But he told me which exercises would get me to my goal and be mist effective, along with which order to do them in. He gave me some tips and I googled a bazillion at-home exercises and bam. -Oh and I actually did them. As it has always been said portion control. I realized I ate what was in front of me so I did four things. 1. Everytime I fixed my dinner plate I would stop and remove half of whatever I had before being seated. 2. I always stopped eating once I no longer felt hungry. Not full, but no loner hungry. *it takes approximately 20 minutes for your belly to tell your brain you are full. 3. While fixing dinner I would sit a bowl of fresh mixed veggies next to the stove and snack on them. By doing this I didn't "scarf down" my dinner by thinking I was starving. 4. I always carried bottled water with me and made sure to have atleast one cup of green tea per day. Oh and I should add I also used one of my children's plates when eating. Obviously they are smaller and dinner plate sizes have grown over the last 3 decades. *I am still trying to lose about 15 more pounds, but rewarding myself after an exercise has been highly beneficial. However, I don't reward myself with food, but rather a trip to the tanning bed or a relaxing bath.

Lemon water. No sodas (even diet), I am a huge coffee drinker so I restricted it to one cup/day bc I used cream and sugar. I was snacking a lot so I didn't feel an instant hunger, but I snacked on healthy things like apples, almonds, preztels, veggies. I found it easier to do this when I bought small Tupperware containers and portioned out different snacks in them 3-4days worth at a time. I knew I could go to the refrigerator or cupboard and grab this container just as easily as a bag if chips. Also, I made playing with my kids like an exercise. I would challenge them to little games like who can do the most jumping jacks, running through the house the fastest, and even (since my children are still smaller) lying one the floor and having them hold onto my legs/shoes and pushing my legs into the air. They thought it was fun and like they were flying. It was like a dead lift with weights, but freestyle. I would raise them up and down, they just giggled and counted, trying to see who could "stay on" longer. For me I got the best of both worlds, I got to play with my kids and make them hapoy while incorporating healthy habits.

Oh and I fixed two gallons of lemon water per day so I couldn't give myself any excuses.

I know this is extremely late, but I forgot I created this account. I just want to say I have lost weight. But I also want to tell you my aunt had a similar problem. She was 5'4" and weighed about 330lbs. She and her husband tried for 6 years to conceive and could not. 3 years ago my aunt decided she would, like you, do anything to be able to conceive. She did not go to any extremes such as pills, fad diets, surgery, etc. But she joined a class for beginners at her local gym, she cut out all carbs exept brown rice and the occasional indulgence and snacked on veggies constantly. She threw out the salt in her cupboard so it was not "readily available" and ate primarily chicken breast on baked lemon pepper fish. That is just an overview. I am proud and impressed to say that she lost 130 pounds, conceived my beautiful cousin 2 months after getting to 200 pounds, and then continued her weight loss journey. She is now a slim 120 pounds and her best asset, other than her daughter, is now that the weight is gone she has the cconfidence to let her beautiful personality shine through.

Blogilates she helped me lose weight and where my family noticed within two weeks I say Blogilates cause Casey is a motivator, she inspires, helps you on what food and it's all lean and healthy^.^ you just got to be determine!^.^ I hope you achieve you're goal but here's one advice that was the cause of my weight loss. Lose weight for yourself not for what others see but for what you're heart see. I'm saying accept yourself and believe in yourself it's good you want to lose weight but do it in the way where you will take care of your body. As the new saying goes "fit is the new sexy." So I hope you go about it the right way and do it healthy way cause what's the point of losing weight if you yourself is going to be sick all the time you won't enjoy it plus half the time you stop doing your "diet" it comes back the moment you stop so if you do it the right way your body will learn and it will become easier to stay the weight you want without worrying as much I hope you reach your goal and just be careful. Take care
