Hi everyone, it has been a long time, but I wanted to let you know that my problems have gotten much better, but still come and go. I am sure I have IBS, which means they don't know what is wrong with me. I would suggest exercise and stress relief, these two things have done wonders for me and I rarely get stomach bloating now.
Also have realized I had a terrible time digesting peanuts, beans and raw garlic, so it could be the case for you too... and also important to keep a lot of soluble fiber in your diet: whole grains/non-processed food, since it seems constipation is a huge factor in causing this condition, at least for me.
I would definitely emphasize trying the non-food things like finding ways to reduce stress and also get plenty of exercise every day, since those things have helped me the most. If those things help a lot maybe you have IBS too and not a food allergy. Make sure to try 3 weeks without gluten and 3 weeks without dairy just to be sure it is not those common allergies. Good luck to all of us!
I have the same problem , had a ct scan ad it showed abilobed cyst on my liver ,waiting to see doctor . I know that it is very painful . I have been drinking carrot juice and it helps alot . Carrot juice cleanses the liver .
I've been dealing with a bloated abdomin for many, many years. Most of my family does to. It's an epedemic and I believe its from the dead food we eat today. There are not enough digestive enzymes in processed foods today. The only thing I have seen that helps everyone in my family is taking digestive enzyme supplements like No-Bloat or Prozyme, etc. Taking a good probiotic is important too as all the chemicals in our foods, medicines, water etc. can cause an imbalance there.
I have had this same problem for about two years now. I've been tested for wheat and dairy intolerance but with no results. last summer i did a yeast cleanse which meant taking vegetable capsules and drops for 2 weeks and sticking to a very strict diet which included nothing with yeast, any type of sugar or anything fermented. basically certain vegetables, certain meats, oats, plain yogurt and i did eat wheat in the from of pastas and wraps, just not bread, and water to drink. This diet seemed to help alot, and at the end of the 2 weeks i felt much better however it was hard to stick to that diet as i love food, and now i'm back to eating everything. :(
Actually anything I eat either turns acidic or turns into gas. At night the increase of gas leads to so much of stomach bloating that it becomes difficult for me to breathe in air into my lungs. I have a very bad eating habit and mostly survive on junk food. To make things worse I work late night and sleep early morning. I have also tried a probiotic milk drink which seems to give some relief but not entirely. Anyone gets to know the solution please advise.
Hello Indian, few things that helped me
1. slowly reduce processed food
2. drink a lot of water
3. Do not use Antacid. Use digestive enzyme

4. If constipated, use invisifiber (from the same site)
5. They also have intestiflora, which has 7 different cultures of probiotics. All of the above helped me within one week.
I take probiotic multi-enzyme digestive tablets you can buy them at Wal-mart in the Vitamin section. They work wonders ! Very affordable too

hi JeannieB...I'm Mike and we are kindred spirits of a sort!My story is so close to yours so now there is another one of us...You may find this interesting...My 19 y.o. son and lived on a rented property in 2010 ,when he was 19...Hegot sick first and one day I noticed he seemed skinny, but the loose clothes these days you dont always notice...so he says "dad,I lost alot of weight"...He was graduating and I had to move here in N.B....During my preparations for the trip my mental clarity and determination to make the big move began to quickly wane, and alot!I forced myself thru the motions then on the trip accross Canada I began losing weight rapidly...I have still been working on this place doing d.i.y.but my heart has never came back ,I guess because the doctors I have seen about this in the over 3 years refuse to listen to my story of how it all began...My son remains sick in B.C. ,his future on hold....I am 100% convinced that we both caught a pathogen or bacteria from the house where we were living....But when I mention bacteria and the fact my sons symptoms are identical and his doctor is doing the same thing to him...The point is though, for you, is I believe a very high percentage of i.b.s, gerd colitis and all the others are given to us from bacteria smaller than a doctors mind...hope this sends you in a new direction and if you find the answer contact me bye4 now

Same problem here, it might be lack of stomach acid that is making that food ferments in your intestine, try betaine hcl digestive enzymes when you eat, you'll feel great!
I found a great solution for this and have to share it with anyone having the same issue. I never eat beef anymore-period, it is the number one cause but not the only one. I do break down and drink whole milk on occasion and it will cause nighttime bloating. I have an extract of meadowsweet herb and also the cut herb and make tea with it before I lay down. I don't know why or how but it makes me belch all the air out of my tummy and stops anymore from forming. It is the only thing that does it. I've tried many different probiotics before this and it eased it some but didn't cure it. Every morning I drink green tea with ginger and honey crystals which ease the tummy throughout the day, but doesn't faze it at night- only the meadowsweet-I'll NEVER do without it. Oh and the taste is nice with hints of sweetness, I add local raw honey as well. Please try this, you'll find the relief you've been looking for!
I have to say it is a real disappointment how unprofessional and careless all doctors approach - as if they didn`t even want to do their job...
Walking daily is the key for me. At night our digestive process slows down because we slow down. Small meals, little or no beef and all the other stuff help also, but daily routine walking and exercise is essential for me.
