Orijen canned dog food review - share your experience with Orijen

I’ve been feeding my dog, who is by the way a Doberman, with raw food for about a year, and then I switched to Orijen food. He’s been eating it ever since, for like, half a year now. 

He didn’t have any problems with switching, maybe in the first couple of days while he was getting used to it, but afterwards he ate it regularly every day. 

 I sometimes combine it with kibble, but basically, Orijen food is the only thing he’s been eating for the past 6 months, so I guess I would suggest you to give it a try. Worked fine for Huch (my Doberman).

Hello. I am not a big fan of canned food, but I think that you already know this. But, I have to admit that a few years ago I was feeding my dog with this food. The main reason was – I had business trip and I didn’t have time for two days to feed him with raw food. I was nicely surprised with this food. Ingredients were really good – boneless chicken, chicken meat, chicken liver, boneless turkey, turkey meat, and turkey liver. While eggs, salmon meal, carrots, red apples, peppermint leaf, chamomile, rosemary. Also, this good has a lot of vitamins, such as vitamin A, D3, E, riboflavin, folic, acid, and biotin.

Orijen canned food was my first choice – ever.
When I bought this food for the first time, I was skeptical, because there are so many ingredients. I didn’t believe in this food content, it was just too much.
If you see the ingredients alone, you might think that Orijen dog food is average dry food. I was thinking this as well, but it is not true.
I can guaranty you that those ingredients are quality, but you still need to estimate the product’s meal content before you give final rate to this food.
I want to say that this is not typical dry good, it is good.
My experience is pretty good, but still, not the best.

Hello there :) I support Orijen canned dog food. I am totally for this type of food, because it is widely consider to be one of the best, if not THE BEST dog food in the market :) If you didn’t know, orijen foods are biologically appropriate for dogs. This food is made with fresh ingredients.  Personally, I don’t think that any type of food has the same quality, but it depends also on what type of food you want. Orijen is totally better for dogs that are really active and those dog who have really high metabolism.

I can say that my mom is pretty insane about Orijen food. She told me that there is not better food on the market than Orijen, and I think that she knows a lot about it, since she had only dogs.

 

She keeps telling me that she is thrilled with ingredients in this food. But, I know that my sister tried to switch her dog from some food to Orijen, but dog has not adapted very well on Orijen food. He had problems with his stool. As you can see, there are so many examples.

But, I trust my mom, because her dog is healthy and it has amazing coat :)

I just wanted to say that I’m more than satisfied with Orijen canned food! It’s the one and only food that I use to feed my dogs (and I have 3 of them) and all of them love it! As you may already know, you can buy Orijen food for dogs of any age, and you also have a couple of different recipes so it’s on you to choose and see what kind of food your dog prefers. When it comes to the quality of this brand, I would dare to say that it is one of the best products on the market these days.

My dog’s favorite is Orijen Tundra and Orijen Six Fish. Cheers.

I don’t have a lot of experience with this brand. It’s ironic because I bought their products several times and convinced all my friends to start using it. I've heard it is great. I read some internet articles about it and it seems to me that it’s one of the best canned food brands out there.

I tried to give it to my dog, but he didn’t even want to try it. I don’t know why. He is usually not so picky when it comes to food.

Since he refused to eat it, I forwarded it to my close friend who has a dog. He says his dog loved it.

A few days ago, I went to the new pet shop in my city. I went to see is there anything new, anything that I can buy for my dog. And, there it was, just on the shelves :)

Orijen Tundra canned food. It has goat, venison, mutton and bison, and this lovely lady from the pet shop told me that this is from Northern prairie farms. Also, other ingredients are duck and rabbit, from Canada.All those ingredients were pretty much interesting for me, so I have decide to buy them.

At the beginning, my dog didn’t wanted to eat it, but very soon, things changed :)

My experience with Orijen is great, I started feeding my dog with it when he was about 3 years old. At first I used just Orijen but my dog got bored with it pretty soon so I started combining it with kibbles. I used different brands of kibbles and judging by my dog’s appetite, the combination is great.
I was very satisfied with the brand that I even took Orijen for cats. But my cat didn’t like it that much.
She ate it once and the next time she just ignored the bowl as if it wasn’t there. But I still buy it for my dog.
