What is your blood type
Typical diet/exercise daily?
Age/Weight
list of symptoms and how long for each

I have a TMJ problem (clicking, locking up and pain that keeps me from sleeping) of which my dentist spoke only of a mouth guard or surgery as ways to correct the problem. One a whim, I decided to try Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM. The results were and still are phenomenal two years later. I also have degenerative cervical discs. Once again, my doctor offered no solution and didn't even mention that I might try Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM. Well, it has fixed both problems about 90%. I am very angry that healthcare professionals don't tell their patients about this. I usually buy it at CVS (buy one get one free) for about $10.00 per month.

Professionals don't tell you what to do to be permanently cured, they always give temporary cure only. This is to ensure that you return to them to PAY for another checkup. This is reality. IF THEY GIVE PATIENTS THE REAL CURE THEN THERE WOULD BE NO OTHER PATIENTS LEFT.

I just figured out most of my issues was caused by a tooth-although, I've had this pulled just three weeks ago& now feel 10xs worse with under my jaw & I have a bone spur that is bothering me. I still have drainage though & a "hairy" feeling in my throat. I'm going to see once this bone spur is healed up if things calm down in my mouth-otherwise back at it with the doctor! Been trying to take a clove of raw garlic every day also and that seems to help the inflammation at least.

ask your Dr. about cortisone shots in your jaw for relief of TMJ. I have had them and it worked for over 3 years.

Maybe this will help. It's from another post.
"I had chronic swollen submandibular swelling for 2 years. If you google salivary gland stones, you will find some ugly looking pictures of what they look like once they're in the duct. Mine come to the end of the duct during a flare and look like a big ugly white zit head. Yes, gross!! Which is why I beleived my *first ENT when he said it was chronic infection that was causing it. I thought it was pus until I popped a gland stone out. I had it biopsied and it was confirmed a salivary gland stone.

"Dr. Gem also advised that a patient should not have a CT scan with contrast if stones are suspected as the lacrimal probe that is inserted into the duct to inject the dye could propel the stones further back into the duct or if still in the gland, further back into the gland where likewise, it could become inaccessible."

Ive just come across this post when typing into google about having a swelling under the chin. I have had the same sorts of symptoms now for about 3 years. I have enlarged glands and I get sore throats quite often and it is painful to touch under my chin and my neck. I have had blood tests taken for my lymphomia, thyroid, Ive had a camera down my throat, an MRI scan, xrays and they've all come back fine. The doctors don't even know what to suggest anymore. I just feel hopeless as I just don't know whats wrong with me,
