Thanks for the response, any excuse my delayed reply. Ah I see, I never had any itching or anything like that. With me, it's been a physical issue ever since I had this injury several years ago... definitely felt like something was out of place, or something got pinched, something to that extent. With me, the discomfort has been primarily on the left side of the penis, around the left gland, and also came with the stiffness/tension going down from penis, down towards my left thigh. Something seemingly has been cutting off the ability for my penis I guess, to drain the blood during/after the erection preventing it from going down, only had this issue when I slept/ and even noticed it at times whilst awake after laying for a while. I started taking a selenium+ iodine product a few months ago, which as some may know, is said to promote better blood flow and such. I do watch some Infowars, (not trying to speak/debate on politics) only reason I mention this is because that's how I came to find out about this supplement, I purchased their X2 Iodine+BioTrue selenium combo (their formula apparently is unique, concentrated from organic mustard seeds, apparently higher quality source, not sure if it'd make a difference as it pertains to this matter), and began noticing improved cognitive/mental function, but apart from that, I began feeling some type of mending if you will, internally around my groin and thigh, the discomfort and tension I had there has gone, and I've been sleeping without interruptions from those erection issues now for several weeks straight. Again, feel free to disregard this message, or look elsewhere for a different brand of selenium, and iodine if you wish, point in me sharing this all, is in hopes of helping anyone experiencing similar difficulties or complications right now. Well wishes to all, and happy holidays!

I just created an account as well, didn't realize I was posting as a guest (post above), also another detail about the issue I experienced in specific, there was like a bit of a ring thing under the head of the penis for me. Also on the gland itself, bottom left side, felt a bit ridged, like there was some kind of vein or something in there, inflamed or out of place I'm not certain exactly what it was. Hopefully, these bits of detail can help as well.

Yes, i tried Clonazepam 1mg and baclofen 60mg together but did not work at all. Important here: at that time, Clonazepam was NOT effective anymore since a while (got tolerant to it).
From the 30 different drugs i tried, ONLY clonazepam was effective, alone, for about 1 year/1 year and a half.
Have you tried Clonazepam alone?
For how long the combo has been working for you?

Los5782: how many awakenings from SRPE did you have before using the supplement?
Was the relief/improvement sudden/drastic after the first use of the supplement?

Hello! not quite sure if I know/recall what SRPE is, but based on context, I'll go with what I think. I was waking up every night 1-2 times consistently without fail for 2 years+. The combo I got, the specific brand is a 2month+ supply, I started noticing mental/cognitive improvements like within the first week, and gradually kept noticing the physical change over the span of 2-3 weeks, like the mending feeling I described in my groin/thigh area... and about a little over a month in, I was noticing that I was beginning to sleep better, gradually the erection issue was becoming less & less. Initially, I was still somewhat aware/awake due to the erections, but they were becoming more tolerable, softer/less tense and also less rigid/uncomfortable and I was beginning to be able to just stay in bed & rest through them. Now been sleeping well for about the past 2-3 weeks now. I've been meaning to share this on here, but was waiting for a bit more of a sample size. I'm on my 2nd order/bottles of the selenium & Iodine now, actually still using the same iodine bottle from the first batch because it's only 3 drops of it per day, and it's an oz of it, so it lasts quite awhile. Not sure if this will help everyone, we're all different & our issues may have different root causes, but that's why I'm trying to be as specific as possible... hope you find this info helpful, don't hesitate to ask or post whatever, if you need any more help or feedback from my end! Good luck, & don't give up!

Andrologist recommended taking Claritin (as it helps with blood flow) before going to sleep and so far it seems to be working. I’m on week 3 without getting up every night. I wake up once a night but not because of the erection, but just to change position in bed and then I am able to sleep all night long. Good luck to you all.

@Santiago: This is indeed strange. Loratadine (brand name Claritin) is definitely not for helping with blood flow! It is a drug to treat allergies. Could you ask your andrologist how he came up with this... it is rather unconventional. But we are perhaps onto something here...

He had mentioned something about it shrinking blood vessels. I mentioned it to my primary care provider and she seemed to agree with his recommendation. It’s working for me. Hopefully it doesn’t lose its effectiveness. There’s an article that states that allergy medications help weaken erections. My daytime erections are normal. My night ones I’m assuming are normal now since I haven’t woken up due to them.

Did it help immediately or over time? I tried one last night and was up more than usual.

Thanks!

I tried Claritin last night as well and it was no better than usual.

John,
Perhaps your body needs to adapt it. And no nothing works immediately, just like chemotherapy doesn’t cure cancer the next day. To the point, I wish I could help you but jumping to conclusions on the next day isn’t recommended. As you already know, every body is different and perhaps this might not work for you, but it seems to be working for me. My recommendation is to try it for at least a week and see if you can sleep better. To address why you were up more than normal, I think that you were expecting this to cure your problem and were anxious about it working; maybe that’s why you were up all night. I wish you luck.

Is it Claritin (Loratadine) or Claritin D (Loratadine/Pseudoephedrine) ? Thanks.

JS,
Before, I wasn't sleeping at all, because of erections every hour. It was an emergency situation. 1 mg Clonozepam and 10 mg Baclofen gives me 5 hours of sleep. It worked immediately. It has been 6 months now. I am still struggling after 5 hours, getting up every hour. I tried Clonozepam alone, and it didn't help.

Also, for the other thread talking about allergy medications. I also tried Benadryl and Allegra. It is supposed to shrink the blood vessels and cut the blood supply to the penis. It didn't work for me, because my case was extreme. For milder cases it might work.
