Pubic Hair Growth Up Penis

I have had this problem for years and have just about saved enough money to get a course of laser hair removal treatments at my local clinic but wanted to check a few forums on the internet to see other peoples experiences or recommendations. 

Knowledgeiskey: I found your reply very insightful and helpful thank you. I would get electrolysis like you recommended but its far too expensive. The only reason I have been able to afford laser hair removal is because I managed to get a special offer of 55% off. Also its good to know that if any hairs do grow back I am best of plucking not shaving.

Yes that is true 'johnson' having a hairy penis is hot as you say, I have had hair on my penis since I was a teenager, some men are what you call 'late bloomers' that means that like you, the hair did not start growing until you were in your mid or late 30's and you have just noticed it now, better late than never. In my case the hair on one side grows up 3/4 and on the other its grows up 1/4, I must admit it makes my penis look very hot and does NOT make it look small, like you I have a rather large shaft.

The moderator is correct in not allowing web addresses ext, As far as "unwanted" hair, why go through all that trouble in removing hair from certain parts of the body. Men are men are have always been hairy to a certain extent, I do not think it is a problem having a hairy chest or lots of hair on or around your penis. I notice when I take showers after swimming and am in the drying room, I have not seen any man who is not hairy on his chest or pubic region, its just a modern trend for certain young men to get rid of his body hair because he has seen certain ads for "so called grooming" on the television.

I think it's all a matter of preference. If you have a lot of hair and like it that way, enjoy it.

I think today many of the younger people like it bald. If I was a young guy today and my girl wanted my pubic area completely naked, it would be, in a minute. Come to think of it, if my wife wanted me bald right now, I would be. I also think the girls are shaving it all off for the same reason, to please their guys. There was a gyno on TV recently who was asked about that. Her reply was that she is seeing more bald than hairy right now. If a girl is shaving to please her guy I bet she is asking him to do the same. Who wants to get hair in their teeth anyway?

Sorry about the link I didn't know this was against any rules. Everyone is different and I would just like the 'clean' look, this is not down to ads on the TV or such like, I just prefer the bald look. If anything I think it is a little offensive to suggest that the reason I want to remove my hair on my penis is because of these so called ads. I have my own mind and my own opinions and it is such that I am not a big fan of hair down below.

Fair enough, that should be the case, men should not be influenced by TV ads, but unfortunately, unlike you "ckelly10" they are, you have chosen to be smooth, that's your choice, nothing to do with TV adds, but a lot of guys are influenced by all those 'so called grooming ads' , that's why so many guys do shave the hair off, if they don;t, some women will ask them to. So 'ckelly' likes it smooth and Guest and Almorr likes it hairy, that just proves that we all live in a world of CHOICE, nothing wrong in that.

it is better to just get yourself a pair of good quality tweezers and pluck those hairs one at a time. This will take some patience a time at first because there are a hell of a lot of hairs on a typical penis. But once you've got them all you will be pleased with the result. After you get your penis nice and slick, just a few minutes a day will keep him that way. And when the hairs grow back they are a lot thinner and not so coarse. Eventually they will be hard to even see them and you will need a bright light shining on your penis to see them easier. Also you wont be having those ingrown hairs which are ugly and painful. You will be pleased with the results. The feeling in your penis will be intensified and just walking around and feeling your slick smooth meat rubbing your shorts will produce very nice sensations and you may even get spontaneous erections as I do. I wear my penis ring most of the time and that helps also. You will enjoy stroking yourself more and your lover will like sucking you without getting the hairs in her mouth. No it's not a myth, hair doesn't necessarily grow faster, but it will grow thicker

I can tell you it is not due to circumcision because I'm English and have not been circumcised, and yet I still have the same problem. I'm 15 and have no idea what to do about this because I'm fed up of trimming my pubes every week. Someone please help?

I have been having laser treatments for over a year now, every 7 weeks, full Brazilian and my buttocks. Best thing I ever did, gf loves it. Nothing to worry about or be afraid of. If you are modest you might be uncomfortable during the treatment as you are completely exposed and they also have to move your junk around, as well as have you bring your knees to your chest to get everywhere. They wear gloves and are very professional though. Most all places have only female techs doing the work. The laser pulses are both hot and cold sensations and feel like a rubber band snap. Occasionally a painful snap. I usually get an erection, at minimum a semi-hard erection during the treatment as they move the skin on the shaft to get at the base. Also the pulse sensation can excite but usually not for long. The tech never reacts or comments, just keeps working and they are wearing special glasses so you cannot see their reaction anyway, lol. I actually enjoy going now and I would advise any guy to go for it.

I've been dealing with this issue since I was a teenager, I'm now mid 60s. I did electrolisis in the early 70s and all it did was to leave some skin marks, like a burn. I can afford the laser but have not done so because I'd hate to go thru the trouble and expense to see it grow back. The best is plucking them but the problem is that I different hairs are in different stage of growth, also that within a few days they begin to show close to the surface of the skin but I can get to them yet; this is the worst time as they can feel like small needles coming out of the skin, I imagine they most feel very uncomfortable to the tongue but due to embarrasment I have never discussed it with anyone. I've always felt this only happened to me, I have never come across any other guy with the same issue (I'm gay). At the beginning of AIDS I was able to "cover-up" by always using comdoms, it was "normal" to use them even for b-js, but later on using comdoms for b-js is not the norm. I put on the comdoms the second I get a hard on and people feel I am kind of strange, but I tell them I am over protective of both, but most people do not like giving b-js with a comdom on, it doesn't feel the same but it makes up for the mental anguish of "being different" and being scared of rejection due to it, fortunately size and aggressiviness is attractive to most gay guys and that has helped me deal with the down-size of my problem. Meeting guys who don't care giving b-js and like to go for my butt asap, is the easiest way to deal with my hairy problem, but that means having to do what I least like. This problem has been the most difficult issue of my entire life and I would had given up many things in life to be able to stop those hairs from growing, I ended up doing some minor skin damage trying to get rid of the hairs, ingrown hairs were a problem for years but that doesn't happen as much as it used to.

Don't think I am old enough to put sex on the back burner. I must be on testosterone injectable therapy to control the effects that I developed due to being unable to keep reasonable testosterone levels (osteoperosis, etc) and within the first week after getting my injectable dosage of testo, I feel 21 all over again. I have a partner who gets very turned on when he "feels" my reaction to the testo and since neither of us work we spend lots of time with each other, I'm sure he's noticed my hairy issue at some point but has never brought it up, however, he does not like anal sex (either way) and loves oral sex so for me to be able to stop those hairs from growing is MOST IMPORTANT, not having to pluck myself constantly and having to plan our sexual life around it would really allow me to enjoy our sexual life to its fullest.
Last comment: I no longer feel I have an extremely rare condition and many times thought it was most likely a side effect to some medication my parents had given me when I was a child to prevent I grew up gay.
