I was told by an expert that i should not pluck regularly because it 'warps' the hair folicle and makes it harder to remove the hairs when getting treatment.
I have been advised to just shave my pole instead, but as i have been doing this i have noticed more hair has appeared and it doesnt remove it properly.
I am going to buy a one-touch home electrolysis kit even though i have been told the stylet tip (the needle) on this device is to big for the job.
I want to try some working methods....

I am 25 years old now, and I started noticing this issue when I was around 17. I regularly pluck hair from the penile shaft and scrotal skin, and I have absolutely no problems. It looks great, and the skin is extremely smooth. Plus, during sex, it gives a better seal which definitely increases the sensation for me, and for my girlfriend. The plucking is painless for me on the shaft now, and the scrotum requires a little more technique to ensure that the skin is properly stretched and braced.
But ultimately, if you don't want to do any of these hair removal options, don't worry. Before i started plucking, i was just lightly trimming with an electric razor (which I still use for the abdomen above the penis) and my girlfriend was fine with that.
One thing that I read on this thread that I would like to try is the hair inhibitory cream after plucking.
Oh, and I am pretty sure that this has absolutely nothing to do with circumcision, and I am uncircumcised.

this guy knows what he's talking about, i started this about a month ago, usually the hair would grow back in ohh a month.. but after hot/warm water and some long plucking, it has been up to 5 months and the hair is only just coming back, its not like stubble. because you completely remove the hair it has to grow again, think of it like when your pubes started growing. small, smooth and curly. be;lieve me this made me feel ontop of the world :')

If you go to laser treatment 5 times, it will Greatly reduce the amount of hair. I am female, but I had a lot of hair, pubic and under my arms.. I.e. out of one follicle sometimes 4 hairs. YES, laser is expensive! but it works... I now have about 20 hairs under each arm... My legs are virtually hair free and bikini too.... never thought this was possible, the laser is worth the effort! Make sure you go to a good place with a medical grade laser. Yes they ask a lot of questions, that is standard practice.

I started growing abnormal hairs when I was about 20, shave them for 4 years and now its a f***ing fuzzball, I'm seriously considering waxing, tried it on a patch of thigh, not too painful and hair takes a long time to grow back. Tweezers take ages and chemicals scare me, there is such a thing as an epilator which women use for more sensitive jobs and i guess it would work for us, relatively inexpensive too. After any treatment use sudocrem or equivalent for a couple days all around the area, it REALLY helps as some pus can build-up especially after shaving, it also helped me with in-growing hairs for some reason, no guarantees though. I'll wax it and let you all know :-D

I'm 21 and NOT circumcised, I've been having this problem since I was 18. I tried plucking at the beginning but it's extremely time consuming to me, not to mention that i hurts (but do-able).
So I moved on with waxing. This is extremely effective and painful at the same time. I've tried with face waxing strips, genital waxing strips a so on but it's always painful as hell. Once you get you penis waxed plucking on a regular base becomes comfortable and not too much time consuming. I never used EMLA creams that many of you suggested but I definitely will. After you waked use creams/oils to remove the remaining wax and stop feeling pain.
I must say that I've read all the pages of this topic and I think I'll go with laser treatment asap, from what I've learned it's pricey but effective and I'm really tired of this, most people don't understand how tedious is this problem for us. It's not even about girls, like many other I've had plenty of girls and most of 'em didn't even noticed anything (at least they didn't say anything :)), It's about feeling comfortable about ourselves.
Finally I have I question, does anyone has the time and the money to try using "Silk'n SensEpil HL100" to get rid of our problem?

1) Do not and i repeat do not shave it makes it worse think about it when you become an old man and you cant be bothered ul have an amazon rain forest lol though to be fair who knows if id care at that age, many ppl see shaving as a quick fix solution even in my industry but its not worth it ingrown hairs and a sharp pubic region is not good.
2) Plucking works but it takes dedication and i mean lifetime dedication hair inhibiting cream exist but is practically bollocks
3) electrolysys hurts and really is not worth it
4) laser hair removal is the best way relatively painless and make sure you do it with a proffessional who has experience in the field it lasts a long time ive done it and by god im soooooooooo happy things to keep in mind only works if you have dark pubes, its really expensive for most people, and most importantly its not i repeat not permenenant im expecting to do it a few years down the line again and it is what my trusted doctor who did it told me.
5) abselute bs it happens only to circumcised people it happens cut or uncut
good luck to you all I have to be honest i have had hair only growing aorund the base of my penis and only about an inch up with a coupole amore an extra half inch up but i have an 8 inch penis erect so i cant really comment about hair growing all the way up as people have wrote on this feed furthermore ive tried plucking and not electrolysys but i have friends who have tried electrolysys and its really painful
its common and most of all natural and im forced to do it for my proffesion and im not willing to shave as i dont want a prickly penis. If you ahve the money lazer all the way its worth ir and incredibly stress free and investigate around NOT for the best deal but someone who has done it alot

from my experience women do not notice/care about the hair or tiny bumps, then again i always tried to make sure i shaved before hand but there are always going to be times when it just happens. thanks for the tip about the tweezers. at least im not alone.

Yes, I am the same very thick hair around the base and up 3 inches right round my penis, on one side the hairs extend almost to the head ending with quite a lot just below the top. Nothing to worry about, I am hairy in other parts of my body, legs, arms, chest, shoulders, guys that are not hairy in those other parts of their bodies probably won't have hairs extending up their penis at all, just round the base, don't worry about it, you are just a hairy man.
