You would honestly be better off asking Google than these clueless m****s. Cannabis contains cannabinoids, in each of our bodies is a canibinoid system that is designed to produce and use cannabinoids. The purpose of the canibinoid system is to control metabolism and immune system. There is a chance that you could put on weight due to your canibinoid system being depleted to "normal" levels of canibinoid production. This is just temporary and happens because your system is so used to having so much excess cannabinoids that when reduces back to normal levels your body registers said levels as being low. Given time your body will readjust to normal canibinoid levels and all will be well. Giving up smoking be it weed or ciggs doesn't make u gain weight. Neither does the eating you do to distract you from your craving. What makes you gain weight is sitting on your arse all day while eating comfort foods because you feel sorry for yourself through your craving. My advice?....... Rather than eating through your craving go forba run, get on a treadmill, people complain about gaining weight after quitting smoking but really, it's because they mope around stuffing their faces all depressed about it. The hormone changes when one is depressed are more likely to cause weight gain/loss that smoking or giving up smoking ia likely to cause weight loss/gain. Point being, of you sit around stuffing your face feeling sorry for yourself you get fat. If you take the time between eating to be active and physically push past your addiction rather than scoffing your way through it you end up with a body of a Greek god/goddess and live ten years longer :) .. go for it!
