I felt the same immediately after my rhinoplasty even before the cast removal but in 4 weeks time i started to love my results although there is still a lot of swelling...even a good change takes some time to be adopted thats is what my surgeon said to me once

I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty with Dr Hamilton at Osborne Head and Neck in Beverly Hills to fix a hole in my septum last year (April 2017). After the procedure I was so swollen and deformed and he kept saying it was normal and “would look great in a few months”. Well, he lied. You can look at my Yelp! Review for photos. He collapsed my nose and for the past year has caused me embarrassment, anxiety and ruined my self esteem. I never disliked my nose prior to surgery. I only wanted the hole fixed. Well, one year later I finally was able to find a surgeon that would even attempt to fix this disaster. I had to have tons of scar tissue removed from my bulbous tip, nostrils brought in, and part of my ear used to create shape. I’m one week post op and still swollen but promise you it looks 100x better than the first time I had surgery. Trust your gut. Get a second opinion if you think you look botched!!!

I am 7 days post op and I look completely terrible. I never expected this. I expected some swelling but I look just like an avatar. I won’t even leave the house. There’s no way I can handle looking like this for a year or even two months. How did your healing end up going?

I’m going through this right now. I’m so worried when cast comes off in a week I’ll have a piggy nose. I have a cast and some taping right now but it looks so upturned and piggy like and short and you can see inside my nostrils. was wondering what happen to yours did the upturn settle down and piggy look go away after all healing? Thank you so much. I’m so worried.
