Same thing happens to me when I eat a fish fry…I’ve learned to take 2 cranberry pills before and after while upping my water intake that day and no smell. It happens to a lot of woman.

the answer is yes. eating lots of fish or other foods with strong odor can change the odor of your vaginal fluid. it’s only temporary, though, and will go away in about a day. i love codfish and every time i eat a lot of it, a few hours later comes the odor. happens lots of the time.
I experienced the same thing after eating shrimp. After a couple of days and plenty of water. I'm fine. They say a woman is what she eats. The smell will come through her vagina.

Hello, I have the same issue. I viewed some of the comments and a lot always point to BV, there’s another condition called TMAU “ Trimethylaminuria” it is fishy odor syndrome. When you eat fish and smell like it or coffee. And even onions. In order to avoid that issue start taking liquid chlorophyll that will allow you to eat seafood with out the string odor.
Seafood CAN change the smell of your under yonder. Depending on the frequency and quantity eaten, you could notice the smell within 24 hours of consumption. This smell usually dissolves after a day or two. Drinking plenty of water and cranberry juice could help flush your system in conjunction with high acidic fruits like pineapple, oranges, or grapefruit. I hope this helps.
I think seafood do mess with your ph balance bc it have done it to me and I don’t even have sex and I got to the doctor!
I'm happy I'm not the only one. I felt so alone in this. My OBGYN never heard of it. Only ever happens after eating seafood.
This happens to me too! I hate that when I look it up, it tells me that it's not possible but there are so many women that have thus same issue! It never smells like this unless I have eaten seafood.
That isn't true. When I eat a lot of seafood the next day my vagina smells like fish. That is the only time it happens.
Ive been dealing with this for years. I dont eat seafood often, but anytime i do the odor is there hours to a day later. Ive asked my obgyn and she said that it does happen to some women. Ive had bv a few times so i knownthe difference between that and seafood although its a very similar odor.
No it’s true normally only the pee smells like fish tho
