I've been having this problem for what feels like forever, however i think I know the reason and maybe you guys will be similar... im currently 19 years old and when I was 8 I got diagnosed with IBS, I suffer really bad with stomach cramps and sometimes constipation or diarrhea. The 2 years ago I started getting panic attacks, only got diagnosed with a panic disorder a few months ago, but due to my panic attacks I started not sleeping then got fearful of going to bed so would plan it out during the day until I got so stressed at night I wouldn't make myself feel physically sick, my only remedy at the moment to calm down my stomach at night now is to take my panic tablet, propanolol. A IBS tablet, buscopan. Get into a feal position and play some sleep meditation music. Hope for the best and wake up smiling.
Me too.... and it's wearing me out.... The nausea first starts with me when I'm ( sitting up ) watching TV.... Sometimes I can get it to go away be either laying down, or getting up to finish doing the dishes or something similar. At about 10:00 pm I go to bed and usually fall asleep just fine, then about 3 hours later wake up with 'butterflies' in my stomach.... can't sleep or even get comfortable.... if I get up and take a Rolaids or something similar it usually takes the problem away...... but too many Rolaids tends to constipate me.... ( I'm a 63 yr. old man )
I used to think it was connected to my 'occasional' glass ( or maybe two ) of red wine but it seems to happen regardless if I've had anything to drink or not.
Don't mix protein with starch. The stomach secretes one type of enzyme for protein digestion and another for starches. If both are secreted at the same time they cancel one another out the neither of them will work. As a result your food will sit in your stomach for many hours and cause indigestion/nausea. Also animal fat mixed with other oils will also cause indigestion. Before practicing this my food would sit in my stomach six hours, now it digests within two. Hope this helps.
What are some tips that you did? I have the same problem and I'm looking to deal with it.
Hey everyone. Im literally crying while reading through everything.... I hate feeling like this every day. The doctor diagnosed me with an ulcer and when im on meds i cope.. Not 100% but i can live a little. But I dont want to live on medication. I feel uncomfortable and nauseous. Im also on the gaviscon thing.. Can someone please tell me why this is happening? It scares me not knowing
Get your thyroid checked and make them do the advanced test. It's worth it. Take care.
i have the exact problem, i have had all of these symptoms for the past year and a half, ive seen doctors but they dont help, i never throw up but i hate throwing up, my parent think its because im paranoid about throwing up and i make myself ill because of the power of suggestion but im learning to live with it, i hate night times but i find proping myself up more using pillows helps when trying to fall asleep better, i tried renee tablets but they dont work, if anyone gets any news on how to stop this i would LOVE to know.
I was experiencing the same thing... turns out I was pregnant. Get tested in case that's it
