I am also 17 and have had this problem for as long as I can remember, although not medical at all i think it may just simply be your heart skipping a beat ( not in the romantic love-at-first-sight way)

Word for word, the exact same experience since I was a teenager and I'm 43. Except for the 20 minute episode, that must have been horrible, I can't imagine. The longest I've had was around 5 minutes and I was terrified I was going to die. And no, anyone who thinks this is gas hasn't experienced. Has nothing to do with gas, not even in the area where gas would bother you. Glad it's not serious but is a awful when it happens.

Hi,

That's PCS! That is exactly the symptoms with classic bubbling sensation. Google it... It's not too serious I don't think but no cure... I've got it too so just reading up and saw this...

I Have the same symptoms my Dr told me it was fibrocyctic breast disease because I had lumps in my breast but they disappear and come back I've gone to the ER because the pain is unbearable but the Drs were rude and said they felt no lumps so I was probably faking or I was having an anxiety attack they didn't bother to check if it was anything else

I have been having sharp chest pain underneath the left side of my breast and I was told I have pleurisy. 2 weeks ago I went to the ER 5 times and they said I could have multiple things. I went the first time because I passed out and got really dizzy. I also take ADHD meds which does cause my heartrate to speed up but that isn't the cause of my chest pain I think. Still have to go to a cardiologist and get a heart monitor and a echocardiogram.

Hi, I'm 15 and I don't know much about stuff like this, but I see a nurse every now and again about my menstrual cycle and I sometimes get that same pain as well as in my lower abdomen. This can sometimes be due to a fluxuation in your hormones. I can't remember exactly which hormone it was she described, but during times like ovulation and pregnancy a lot of people tend to get that pain. It could be this or something else, but I hope I was of some little help.
