These bumps, like the bumps you would get after shaving a beard or something are not something to worry about. I have them too and i have not been sexually active for over 3 years. They are just shave bumps. It is good to consult your doctor though.

I HAVE to do something with the hair down there, as I am a competitive dancer, and don't wear tighs with leotards. problem is I'm a teen so there's no way I could get a wax done professionally... I need some help with reducing/getting rid of these red bumps...

I shaved with a gilette 5 blade and lots of sensitive gilette shaving gel and now have countless red bumps and tiny white heads. Will it just go away or can I assist it in disappearing promptly

Yikes everyone needs to calm down. Redness, bumps, ingrown hairs, and even a few pimples are completely normal if you shave a certain way. Yes waxing is an option but it is a bother rather than simpl shaving in the shower. The trick is to keep the hairs down there very moisturized, I'd recommend conditioning it for 3 min when you shower. The trick is to shave sideways, gently, don't mow down your skin. Then afterwards, apply aloe Vera to the skin, and it heals, protects, and soothes your skin. It's completely safe and moisturizes as well. This works for me and I hope it works as well for you !

What if when you gently squeeze these bumps they bleed? Is that still considered razor burn?
