Hi, I, as a young teen, got introduced to shaving a few months ago, and decided to regularly every other week shave everywhere, including privates. I did get red bumps and did know it was normal so I never really cared. I soon realised I had an ingrown hair as a larger singular bump, so I cleaned it for a few weeks now hoping it would go away, but instead it became a large blister that constantly bleeds and is way outta proportion and hurts when I go near it with anything. I was well over scared finding out about this considering I have no idea what it is or how to treat it because its been like this for two weeks, and an std wouldnt just pop up when I started shaving but still worried as to what it could be. I wanted to know your clarification and whats the best way to clean it, considering I have done everything from washing with soap and alchohol and neosporin yet it still looks pretty bad

I have one ingrown right now. It hurts like heck. I really want to shave it but I cant. So I decided to put some ointment on it. Don't shave though, it will cause more.

Mostly in growing hairs are caused because either the razor you have used is blunt so always use a good triple blade type not single blade disposable always use a good shaving gel or foam as that helps to lubricate the skin and always shave with the hair and not against and also to take your time and don't rush then moisturize the skin after to keep it soft.
If you follow those simple tips your find you will get a lot less in growing hairs. :-)

Hi, yes it's bound to itch because you have irritated the skin.
When you shaved did you do it after you had a bath or in the bath so the hair is softer and did you use a shaving foam or gel to help the razor glide over the skin better, what sort of razor did you use?

You've got to be kidding me hydrogen peroxide is extremely dangerous to yourself it's a powerful acid unless it's an low percentage it will burn you and if it's a low percentage it will also do absolutely nothing. Are you sure hydrogen peroxide is what you meant

Hi, everytime I use a razor I get sore red bumps that come up. I think it may be ingrown hairs but I can't get rid of them and don't know how to prevent them. Today I used a brand knew razor for my legs and after I got out of the shower it began to bleed, really sore and red. Iv tried putting cool soothing gel previously to calm the irritation but it doesn't seem to work. Please help Im starting to get self conscious of it. Thanks :)
