Reading the posts, it's obvious there are various conditions which cause blisters on hands and feet. I felt very enlightened by reading through the posts, trying to figure out what is afflicting my 6 year old son.

The most helpful information I found pertained to exposure to bleach and antibacterial soaps (he just started swimming lessons about 3 weeks ago, twice a week). I hope you figure it out, I liked the suggestion to apply apple cider vinegar to blisters to help them go away... a suggestion that surely would be okay for a pregnant woman as well.

Doctors can't always diagnose these conditions correctly, our doctor suggested hand foot and mouth disease... when I looked this up and saw pictures and descriptions, I felt it was not a correct diagnosis.

the blisters on your hand and feet and sometimes in your mouth is called hand foot and mouth disease. my son has had it 2 times already and now i have it. they say its viral and you should only be able to get it only once.

My poor gorgeous gal will despise me for this one.

Right, a couple of weeks ago..al her fingers in her right hand seemed swollen, and she could not stop sctartching. it stopped for a while. Now has ceazed, but then she developed a mamoth wart! Weve tried everything..and its getting her upset..Its abiggy too. are warts a sign that she is stressed? I am just curious-as I know they are ONLY supposed to be contagious, like foot varoucaes..( sorry about the spelling)...but when ever and Ive only ever developed one horrible wart once in my life and that was when I was incredibly stressed- so are they stessed related? Just worried-as our family is breaking up at the moment and many many changes have happened over the last 3 yrs...so is it related to that? Otherwise, she seems happy with herself.

I first got tiny little blisters on my hands and feet ten years ago, finally went to a herbalist having had no joy with dr and dermatologist. He suggested I cut out sugar from my diet for 10 days and see what happened. After 7 days new blisters stopped appearing and then they dried up all together. I do eat some sugar now, but if I over do it they're back (lager beer seems to be a particular culprit)

Iv been living with this condition for four years now and still have no idea what it is. When they first appeared the blisters where small to large on my hands and have ing eczema and other skin related illness's the doctors said it must be an illergic reaction to something iv touched or eaten. I was first put on ficibet which helped at the time but over the year stopped working. It often appears like its gone but then returns very anrgy and violently. It hardly comes up on my feet however two years ago it reacted on my feet in huge blisters like massive and i couldnt walk because of them. Yet again the doctors put it down to an allergic reaction but now its come up again i really want to find out what it is. It reacts with heat and becomes very itchy and inflammed. Im currently using dermovate however my doctors now given me protopic ointment, anyone tried that?

Thanks for the information. I went out and bought witch hazel. I kept hands dry and applied witch hazel several times. It works!!! Thank you. I had the problem for the last few years, and noticed that sugar seems to contribute to more breakout in blisters.

Hello- I have these blisters on my hands as well. When I was 16 I noticed them sporadically on my hands just as one or two. This started as I got my first job and was cleaning the dining room at Taco Bell. I was also responsible for cleaning the dishes, floors, food "line" etc. They itched and eventually went away. Now at 29 I broke out back in Dec. and ignored the blisters that itched like crazy. I had just had a baby and remember a bleach spray leaking onto my hands. I just assumed that it was the stress of a new born, a long commute and financial frustration. Then I went to the Dr. in February and he prescribed me a cortisone that I was already using from my daughter and referred me to a Dermatologist. Because I didn't have the time available at work to go to the doctor I didn't make an appt. with the Derm. I ignored it. Then all of a sudden I broke out horribly- my hands were swollen and they burned. Because eczema ran in my family and I used to seek extremely hot water to "sooth" the itch, I tried this with my fingers. It made them feel SOOOO good then they would quickly blister up and burn and swell. This is when I finally went to the Dermatologist and he gave me a cream. The appt. took a while to get so my hands had time to just crust up. The cream healed it up but it took a long time. I didn't want to put the cream on and touch my son because I read on the side effects of the high perscpiption that he gave. () So I suffered for 30 days until my follow up appt. at this point I was in SO much pain. The doctor prescibed me prednasone in a weird dosage of 8 per day for 4 days split am/pm 4 per day for 4 days split am/pm and then again 2 per day for 4 days split am/pm. This confused CVS and they didn't give me the correct dosage which threw me off in taking the meds but it did clear up the blisters and made me feel human again. The doc told me to use the cream with the pills and of course I used it sparengly. I think I'm going to go back to the doc and see what to do. I am back to the blisters again and they itch!

If this helps anyone, I seem to get getting the blisters when using certain body sprays/deodorants. I get the blisters between my fingers and just recently got a collection of them on my right hand in the large area between thumb and wrist; I agree with the itchy part; i've scraped off skin many times. After reading up on this stuff, i've changed alot in my lifestyle. REALLY cut back on sugar intake, ditched most of the "disco boy" bodysprays and bodywashes.

It actually occured to me as i watched the season finale of "House MD"; a guy with more severe symptoms admitted to virtually bathing in bodyspray 2 to 3 times a day.

HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS THESE DAYS ARE DANGEROUS! Be like me and use trial and error. Eliminate/replace 1 product per week; you should see a difference before too long.

I have had small plisters on my hands for years. I can feel them burning. Then like a fluid filled blister. If u pop it it hurts worse and there is no fluid. Also similar bumps on my tongue intermittely since child. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease a gluten intolerance.

My mom is having the same symptoms now and has had them occasionally for over 4 years. Did you find out what was wrong? I would really like to know if you have.

This is very strange, I have exactly the same symptoms as above, I have these lesions/blisters on my hands and on my feet but not in my mouth, I'm 23 so I'm not a kid it's a bit weird. I first treated it as a fungal infection however it would not budge with any kind of fungal treatment! Then went to the GP and as above put it down to Hand Foot and Mouth and put me on some antibiotics, the doc said it looks a bit like a staf infection as well. Plus I've had this for a week or two. There's no worser feeling then your fingers and feet crawling at night!!!! Hope someone here has some answers or someone could comment back if they got this treated!!!

I have been suffering with tiny blisters on my hands and feet for the past nine years. It began when I turned 30. I've been to several dermatoligist and finally was diagnosed with a particular exzema that only affects your hands and feet. I went through a series of treatments and now it is currently under control thanks to my current dermatologist. I was informed by my dermatologist that I would have to be treated for it for the rest of my life and it was heriditary. My mother has the same condition but more severe. She recently was diagnosed by the same dermatologist and found treatment. Thanks to my dermatologist!!!!!!!!
