Hey, I think I may have an actual answer if changing your diet isn’t working. I’ve dealt with a problem exactly like this. I’ve changed food a bunch of times and gone without eating for long periods of time. Nothing would help. Until I went to the chiropractor. What’s most likely happening is your cervical spine is out of alignment and too far forward. The pelvis tilts anteriorly further than it’s supposed to when the head sits in front of the shoulders. So other muscles in your body are having to compensate while others are shutting off. Your pelvic floor / colon can become spastic because of having to take on a load that it wasn’t meant to in ways that it wasn’t meant to. Your colon can become spastic too. Your nerves aren’t communicating properly throughout your body as well since nerves originate from the head thus contributing to the issue. I say go to a chiropractor who does x rays and a comprehensive assessment of your alignment and then create a plan to getting back to a healthy baseline. I wish you all the best because this problem is the most draining thing to go through.

Anyone have this get worse when wearing a retainer/Invisalign. I notice mine improves when I don’t wear my retainer for a week and is worse when I do wear it. Not sure if allergy or extra saliva causes gas/grumbles.

I used to have the same problem. I tried experimenting with different things and was thankfully able to fix it. First of all, are you drinking enough water? I found that when I am dehydrated this problem is way worse. Try bringing a bottle of water to class. Second, are you getting enough fibre in your diet? A lack of fibre can cause constipation, which can increase gas and bloating. Lastly, I personally found limiting my consumption meat seemed to help. Every time i eat eggs for breakfast, my stomach would not stop growling for hours later. Anyway, that was just my personal experience so take it with a grain of salt. Hope this helps and good luck.

To everyone who is suffering please try Rifaximin, you can research about it online for the dosing, it helped me with bowel sounds you all are experiencing for few months but then again it came back.I guess medicine and diet have to go hand in hand then only it will work, i failed in keeping my diet after taking this medicine. These tablets are expensive even with insurance you can find it cheap in other countries. Please consult your doctor if you need to know more about these tablets. they give it for travellers diarrhea and IBS.

I know by experience that the only thing that has any positive effect on my symptoms are antibiotics. The problem is, however, that the symptoms come back after a week or so of the completion of the dose. Can you please let us know if your symptoms are gone for good like 20 days after your Rifaxin dose finishes?

MINTEC. I had this problem it was terrible and I still do but Mintec has literally saved me. It is a little green pill that you can buy at the chemist and it relaxes your bowel wall. at first my stomach still growled a little bit but I take them every day now and no growling. When I had this problem no one seemed to understand and it was humiliating so I stopped going to school, I noticed that it happened mostly the first three periods and it was worse the more stress I felt but mintec saved me yall.

I might have the answer but not 100% sure I'll update with the full answer in a couple of days so far quit gassy and sugary foods start eating stuff like dairy free yogurt in the morning and chicken, salmon, shrimp and rice for dinner. Exercise and take walks daily eat more fiber reach for 20g. Quit citric acid this stopped the butt growling for me things that have citric acid are like sodas Gatorade caprisun chips

This is literally happening to me!! I put something up there and that’s when the problem started. I tried to solve it by stretching my anus out but it made it worse. The gas is trapped in my rectum somewhere and it makes all these weird vibrations noises. What do I do?!

At first i thought I had typed this because our situation is so similar. I was born premature and wonder if that has something to do with it?. I notice eating home made chicken soup helps and stop drinking soda and water instead.

I suffer from this issue and I found the solution ( maybe this will help you) i suffer from anxiety disorder all my life on and off. One time I go to the hospital for panic attacks and they put fluids in my veins because of dehydration.

i was so uncomfortable with the noises in a quiet room and I started to drink water and after about 30 minutes the noises became quiter and less frequent. I think the problem is you are dehydrated and your stomach needs help digesting food so if you drink plenty of water it helps lessen the noise and you’re able to digest food better. So basically avoid excess sugar and dehydration by taking a water bottle with you when you are in class.replace the sugary juice and drink with water.
