I actually wet to my physician over his strange "rolling over" and Kicking in my lower abdomen. I am 42 years old and am not sexually active and had a tubal ligation over ten years ago. A vaginal ultrasound detected nothing but you can actully see and feel the movement and the kicks periodically and I know that I am not crazy. Has anyone found out what this could possibly be?

thank you thank you thank you lol I've been going mad over this! 7 1/2 month old baby delivered by c-section. Started feeling this strange rolling about kicking sensation about a month ago and I've been so worried as this is not the only problem I've developed since giving birth o.O

I wonder is women from older posts come on sometimes, wonder if they found a cure or what it is exacly ? ?

I am 43 and have the same issues. My youngest son is 17. There is no reason for me to look pregnant, feel the kicking, and movement. What I find unacceptable are the doctors who are supposed to help. But instead make fun of you. And flat out lie to you and make you feel worse than you already do.

I'm 31 and for the past 2weeks I've been feeling such strange movement in my tummy, Like a lashing out and then moving around, I do have a 7 year Son and it feel like when I was pregnant with him, I was so worried and stressing myself out I went to the Doctors today, they did touch my tummy and she didn't think I was Pregnant, she did say do a blood test to put my mind at rest, as I have done 2 home test but both said no I wasn't pregnant, I'm still feeling the movements and to be honest it is very scary.

I have had these strange movements as well in my stomach. I've noticed them lately. I had 1 baby by c-sec. 1 year ago. Since the c-sec. I'm have more gas, chronic diarrhea, & periodic stomach aches. I thought the 3 were due to my body getting back to normal, but now that the numbness has gone away from my c-sec. I can see & feel movements. I'm not pregnant. I don't know what these are but can't help feeling like somethings in there. it's freaking me out & I want to schedule an appointment to see a dr. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. if anyone gets a diagnosis, please post your experience.
Thanks

I am really glad to find these posts. But nobody has come back on and said if they got a diagnosis. That makes me think it is benign, like gas or something. For the past several days, I have had a strange sensation. (My youngest is 4, no surgeries lately, no I'm not pregnant.) It is an area about the size between a golfball and baseball, to the right of my navel. So mine does not go all the way across my stomach, and I can't see it move. It feels like a rolling. I guess, being totally honest, that it feels like a little mouse pushing around in there, but that sounds weird, so I don't tell people that. It is not painful, and does not seem to be related to bowel movements, when I ate or what I ate.

After doing some google searches, I looked up more on intestinal parasites and ovarian cysts, but the symptoms don't match. One of the earlier posts about "twisted bowel" intrigues me. I'm going to see if I can find out anything about that.

If I figure something out, I will come back on and post!

Ive noticed it for the past two weeks, if not more, and when mentioned to someone been made feel like im crazy. I have no symptoms of pregnancy, and i dont feel pregnant either, im hoping you ladies are right because i was getting quite worried, Other wise ill probably see a doctor to be on the safe side.

For the past year and a half I have had off and on rolling feelings or thumping in my abdomen and have had 3 children. I also have taken pregnancy tests that have come back negative. I catch myself spending half the day watching my belly to see if it moves as if it were a baby. If it is loss of strength in the intestines can doctors surgically fix this and if it is some sort of worm, how is that diagnosed?

I don't think that it's either a loss of strenght or a parasite. I think that the best thing to do is see a gastroenterologist. What I think this might be is crohn's disease or perhaps IBS. Is there any way you can go get that checked out? Let me know how you're doing.

Hello all. I'm 30 y.o. w/a 13 y.o. son. I had a tubal ligation in 2004. I do not believe that I am pregnant, but have not confirmed this w/a pregnancy test. (That's on tonight's to-do list.) I've been experiencing symptoms similar to all of those posted here and am very interested in hearing the results from anyone's doctor visit(s). The rolling/pushing sensation I feel is visible to both myself, as well as my husband. It also occurs to the right of my navel as a previous posting mentioned. I do not believe this to be food related b/c they tend to occur, basically, whenever. Good luck to you all, and please, share whatever information you can!

I have been calling it a "phantom pregnancy". I have been pregnant 8 times, 4 live births and 4 misscarriages. My oldest is 13 and my youngest is 2 1/2. It started a few month's ago with what felt like the first little wiggles of a fetus. I have taken home pregnancy tests as well as asked my doctor who unfortunately only gave me another urine test and not a blood one which is more acurate. I continue to get my "monthly" and haven't had any nausea or any of the other telltale signs of pregnancy. Well, two night's ago, my had was actually "kicked" when I pushed in on my belly. The movements are random and some are even up high in my belly. I don't have irregularity---I am actually the only person in my household who is healthy is that way---and I also don't have ANY pain, cramping or discomfort physically associated with it. I was thinking it may be phsycosematic and the result of my husband recently getting a vasectomy although we are both 100% thrilled about the procedure. I am going to check into these worms women spoke of above but at this point, this is weirding me out! o.O

All of you with these noticeable movements of your colons need to see your Md's. I believe they may be secondary to a blockage of
some etiology. If accompanied by other symptoms, i.e., nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding, no bowel movements, one should definitely see the MD.

I totally agree. I think that it could be indicative of another problem and it's a good idea to get it checked out. Thanks for posting on this. :)

i had the *exact* same symptoms of random movement for approximately four weeks before seeing my ob/gyn today. (brief history: i've had two c-sections and have had an IUD for 3 years).

the sensation felt *exactly* like quickening/fetal movement.

per my doctor, he explained from an OB/GYN standpoint, it was likely random contractions of the uterus (which can happen as a result of an IUD simply bc it is a "foreign object" that causes the uterus to contract).

aside from that, if it was accompanied by pain or other symptoms, he would refer me to a GI.

hope this helps!
