Hi! I had the same problem and it turns out I had and still have a hypertonic pelvic floor. It requires massage therapy!

I have been dealing with this same thing. I have had 3 UTIs in the past few months, with the last one being about 7 weeks ago. A few days after taking antibiotics for this last UTI my symptoms had cleared up, but then I started having the new strange sensation that you all have described. In the last 7 weeks I have been through 3 rounds of antibiotics, have been treated for yeast, bacterial vaginosis, and have been taking lots of probiotics. Nothing has made this constant feeling go away. It has gotten a bit less intense than it was, and I've had some days that are better than others, but it is still ALWAYS there. Based on all my research trying to figure out what's wrong with me, I decided to give pelvic physical therapy a try. So I went for the first time last week. My therapist said my pelvic muscles are definitely tight, and that this could be the cause of my symptoms. She thinks it was brought on by a combination of UTIs, anxiety, and antibiotics. She also said I should see improvement after a few weeks of treatment! I am hoping she is right and that I will be over this in a few weeks! I sympathize with you all- it's miserable!

Hi! Yes, I am doing so much better now!! It took about a month of physical therapy before I really noticed much of a difference though. I was feeling so hopeless and depressed for a while there. I've been doing stretches and using a "wand" daily to release trigger points and relax everything. I still have some bad days, but I am much much better than I was!

I went to a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction because I have had this feeling after a UTI and it lingers for even longer after every UTI I get. She has been an extreme help to me. It's definitely has to do with the bladder being irritated and inflamed.

My physical therapist was able to tell that my pelvic muscles were too tight/ tense just by doing an internal exam. And yes, after a couple weeks of therapy that awful arousal feeling went away! It has been about 2 1/2 months I've been doing physical therapy now and I finally feel almost normal most days! :)

UTI/Bladdef/kidney etc issues are just as aweful as a bad tooth/ear ache....its misery....so i went to doctors about 3-4 weeks ago for uti. Got med, messed up and ended up finishing half
Symptons subsided. However almost 2 days ago i felt the UTI symptoms reappear, but within few hours i was able to subsid symptoms and function as good as possible....

So update....Honestly its 2:11am, i took AZO & Cystex 15 mins ago..also drinkink water . Praying for the medicine to go thru my body and flush out this pain/uncomfortable miserable pain/sensation/urge to pee subsides a bit to go to sleep. All i know is the only way to feel the slightest amount of tolerability/ relief right know is by keeping my ass constantly seated on the toliet seat ... ughhhhh

I have a condition called hyper acidity of the kidneys and get water infections almost daily. The only thing that helps is to avoid citric acid like oranges or orange juice. I take cymalon daily to help, the first sign I get in having a water infection is my clitoris feels sensitive I hope this helps as I have lived with this since I was 9yrs old I'm now 30 and it's never gone away but if I stick to no citric acids and a cymalon when I feel the sensation it is manageable
