I had triple hernia in dec 2015 stomach still very bloated never been the same very large and painfull.my says i look pregnant so very large. Been back to doctor says it could take years to go back to normal

i had lumber hernia 5 times and with a new dr its been 8 weeks it hurts and is hard and big on my left side were i had kidney cancer in 22013 almost died from that had ahernia surgery 2013 till 2016

I had the quickest recovery ever two days in the hospital for a colon resection and gallbladder removal surgery, it was because of what I ate for the three weeks prior to the surgery. Ended up three weeks later in for an incisional hernia repair surgery because I went back to top the gym to quickly, I was out of the hospital after one day, also because of my intake. One week later almost all the swelling is gone, I attribute it to my choices of food

I just had ventral hernia surgery on Feb 24 2017 just above the scar it has a bump about the size of a golf ball little bit bigger than a golf ball I'm worried it reruptured only because day after surgery I had pain afternoon then afternoon sound like air being let go like afternoon phsssst sound but under the skin with afternoon popping feeling
i have the same issues a lump the shape of a small sausage hard as a rock well pretty close to it its been 2 weeks i since i had surgery i've been to the doctors office 3 times in the last 2 weeks because of my concern i basically get a wait and see answer from everyone at the doctors office. Frustrating!!
I'm a jogger also and i had hernia surgery 2 weeks ago and i have hard lump the size of a small sausage where the incision is i've seen some doctors 3 times since surgery not the surgeon he is always in o.r i feel like we are playing a wait and see game . could be a seroma of a hematoma maybe i think they want to see if it heals on its own i think i am go to ask for a echo scan to see whats going on.
I go to see the doctor tomorrow, and I have the same problem as you you guys. My site is extremely swollen and hard. If it was jelly like I wouldn't be worried I would just ice the site. I hope to get a better answer than wait 6 months. I have a pretty good doctor so b I'm hoping for the best.
Good luck. Mine has reduced now a fair bit but just over 3 months post surgery. Now having issues with pelvic & groin pain as l try to begin running again. Very frustrating
