I get these as well and i am only 15. They suck.... o.O They smell bad and I can feel them in my throat all day long! I know that I shouldn't pick them out because it makes me bleed but I would rather do that then deal with it. I have been getting them since I was really little so I told my doctor. My doctor said that it was just puberty eh an I knew right then and there she was wrong. None of my friends were having this so I took matters into my own hands and this page really helped me. Now I am off to an ENT. THANKS!! XD
This helped me allot Thanks guys. But i'm a little confused. I don't get them frequently, I get them on rare occasion. I actually have quite the cold. I cant stop blowing my nose, coughs, stuffy nose, and etc... I've never had my tonsils removed. All i'm wondering is, is this normal for people who are somewhat sick?? If not can you please give me any advise as to what i should do??
well iam 24 ,and i have had those tiny balls coming out my throat ,and i do have sinus problems,and thanks for ur imformation,at least iam not alone.i surprised to see that other people have experianced the same as me

Had my tonsils out about 6 years now...they were the size of golf balls each..not exaggerating...anyhow I still get these nasty things...not as bad as my heavily pitted tonsils use to be...definitely is food getting up into a lower sinus cavity or other hiding place in back of throat...best of luck. 41 yo male.

The first time i really notice these "bad breath seeds" as my mom and i call them. I was convinced that it was a part of my brain, and I was going to die. While I logically knew that it wasnt really brain matter, i couldnt stop thinking about the possiblity for a while. I have ever since, noticed them more often and they only ever come out of one side, and are preceded by my throat feeling gross, uncomfortable and mucousy. When i check my throat by looking in the mirror i notice that the one side of my throat is puffy. Usually I can use a qtip to remove them. But when i wrnt to college away from all my allergies, they got WORSE! My mom went vegan and now doesnt get them, but im eating the same amount of dairy that i was before.... It doesnt make sense to me, same dairy but less allergies should mean less mucous and bad breath seeds right?!?!
Can someone help me. I bought a cordless waterpik and the attachments are not long enough. I cannot get it to my tonsils. Can anyone help or are there some longer tubes I can use.
I had my tonsils taken out in Oct 2012. I am 34 now and had the white stones on my tonsils years. I just swallowed another stone without my tonsils. I am wondering if I have throat cancer or bacteria infections. It seems every 3 months after I get off antibiotics, I have to go back to see the doctor. Anyone have good advice?
I use allergy medication, because when I started taking that, I noticed the holes get smaller and disappear, but you would have to take a pill once day for a very long time, to keep them away
One time, I had one and it was HUGE, they are normal, but this one was like 1/4" in diameter. It was nasty :-)

OH MY GOSH! Thank God I am not the only one who has those awful white things. They are SO annoying! I don't get them very often, but when I do I spend about 30 minutes just trying to get it out! And it's always on the left side, never the right. hmmm... it takes me forever to get them out (I gag extremely easily, ugh) they smell so bad and sometimes they are huge! I have to almost squeeze them out of the hole. does anyone have any advice on getting them out easier? or maybe not getting them at all?! that would be nice... thankyou!
