Uncomfortable sensation/spasm like in my face, hands during sex

Interesting theory. I admittedly do suppress my emotions. but this problem has occurred with every one of my partners. some more than others, but at least once with each. So I don't think its necessarily an emotional block between my partner and I, just within myself maybe? I don't know how to address the emotional block though :/

ok im a 31 yr old female. I just started dating a man that ive been in love with for 15 plus years and everytime we have sex i go numb and feels like im in outterspace. My lips tense up and my body turns to a limp noodle. i cant talk right let alone walk. i have asked my mother who is a nurse and she said its real real good sex. hyperventalation, and dehydration all mixed in one. we need to slow our breathing and drink waer right before and hold on for the ride it is an orgasm coming trust me!!!!!

Hello, this exact same thing happens to me, i am 24 and my hands go crooked and its hurts, my lips go sideways. Have you been able to find out if this is normal??? i had no idea someone else has experienced this and it scares me to the point where i never let myself enjoy sex anymore.

Hi! I have had the same exact experience! I don't know what is wrong with me! My face tingles and my mouth and facial muscles get a mind of their own and "grimace" like you said Its sooo embarrassing that i have to put a pillow over my face. My hands tingle and even my toes sometimes. And it seems like the bigger the "member" is, the worse the "grimace"/tingling becomes. I have another symptom as well. I have never had an orgasm via vaginal penetration. I wonder if this is related? Id like to know what you find out! I could use some information:)

I'm 19 years old (Female) and this happened to me yesturday afternoon. My boyfriend was going down on me and he was doing really good, but I wasn't about to orgasm (I know when I'm about to orgasm... trust me, my boyfriend spoils me with the best of toys -- aka Hitachi magic wand. Be glad its only part of your body my whole body locks up after sex ive always done it I didn't understand even had one guy think i was faking me and my husband finally got to reading and it has something to do with your oxygen getting to your muscles just be prepared for it to happen like if we are standing up my husband knows to catch me because ill fall and it takes a few minutes but it goes away ive learned don't try to fight it

It's called carpalt spasm. It is possibly tetany. look up pictures. Hyperventilation can cause it. Even if you're not hyperventilating, just the heavy breathing and activity with sex can get you there. I've been suffering since a concussion I had 8 months ago. Of course I have poTs and other issues to go with it and I'm having some type of non-epileptic seizure event to go with it but I have been searching for answers for months. I first noticed it when I had a vaginal orgasm while on top of my husband. I started breathing heavier after and rah event progressed from there. Each event then Sartre adding carpal spasms. I had an EEG done and they were able to induce it with hyperventilation. The worst one I've had. But it was non epileptic. It was terrible. Have them check your carbon dioxide levels as well. Also mention hyperventilation. Respiratory alkalosis is a long shot. Sometimes mess can cause issues. All depends on the person. Hope it helps.
