It's not just the middle east and its certainly not psychological. I'm a Hungarian who grew up in Serbia and now live in the UK doesn't get more European than me. I have never heard of this being a thing anywhere. But i know i had this problem as long as i can remember. In autumn its horrible, as i can leave the house, nothing happens then as I'm waiting for the bus it starts cramping and i get gas. Then in like half an our i have to go to the toilet or I'll c**p my pants. Happend before, can tell you not funny at all.

Hi, this is my 3rd.post here.
First off, sorry you are only one who replied me. You suggested creating a Fb page. I am cutting down internet and messaging, so i am not the right person to do that..I also thought I would have t find the way on my own, since the frum seems hopeless.
Nobody has yet tried the cure of Cliffy73 on 2014-01-16:: physio for muscle memory (pity he didn't give any detail). I won't find that here.
Nor a few suggestions of trying TCM. Which I echo. And am actually trying . Again. Last year I had acup.and my dgestion improved. But made no difference for this cold thing, No wonder, when de dr. didn't seem to believe me about the cold hypersensitivity. Her ignorance. I type my symptoms and what are de pages about? TCM.(And homeo, which I tried and was improving ...only to go back to square one when i ran out of the med. And this year I tried the same med. and it made no difference). Moreover, TCM has cold and wind as some of the main external pathogenic factors( and then as in my case maybe the worse was through eating cooling food in cold weather for long time). And, just check how many remedies they have to expel cold from the meridians. Furthermore, check articles connecting cold, IBS and TCM.
So, look for a god TCM dr.and see if it works. AND come back and share! Only if u can't find one in your country nor go to one where you d find, see which one of the meds may suit u. and order them online. But that is a last resort. Risky. And write down your symptoms before u start and go on checking if there's nothing getting worse.
I am talking about CURE. 99% of the posts talk about easing symptoms. I mean, if u had this for some time, you pretty much know that.
As for the one who wrote ""you guys must google cold urticaria""...apart from cold creating the trouble, what similarity do u see ??

I have this issue and also have O negative blood type. I've often wondered if it plays a role.

I have the same thing too pretty much my whole life . There must be a medical name for this condition and I still need more information on how exactly this is caused after the temperature exposure . Also if it is a defect that can lead to something else or an early sign of something else .

O- me too.

I have kind of the same thing but mine's just the opposite it happens in the winter time. it happens when I go from a warm house go outside to do stuff in the cold and then when I come back in I have severe cramps and muscle spasms it gets to the point I have trouble breathing. I have not found a reason for it I thought it was due to be being a C5 C6 quadriplegic, but reading these testimonies from other people I'm not alone and probably not due to my condition.

I was hoping to find someone here who suffers from the same thing as me: My stomach cramps when the outdoor temperature drops below 0°c or so - REGARDLESS of how warm or cold I am. I can be sitting indoors, warm and cozy - but my cramps will tell me when it's freezing outside. This is just too weird, try explaining this to a doctor... o.O

I have dealing with this all my life... my stomach would suddenly feel cold then cramps and diarrhea... sometimes I get dizzy and sometimes it gets so bad that I blackout. Today I got a cold feeling.. stomach pains and cramps... then my lips and tongue got numb. I was so dizzy I couldn’t stand and when I did I vomited.

My sister and I both have this. The freezer dept of the grocery store can make me need a bathroom. I just discovered in the last couple of years that she also has abdominal cramps if the temp changes quickly. A sudden cool breeze, a cold room, getting chilled, all can cause my cramping.

I did not expect to find anything when I searched this, here is my current situation:

I get a nautilus and or generally uncomfortable feeling isolated in the lower half of my torso when my midriff is exposed to cold air. I find it only seems to happen when the temperature shift if from hot to cold, hot ranging from the steaming hot shower, to getting out of bed (room temperature averages 68*F at this time) This is troublesome because I will stay in bed unless I have class, some other scheduled event, or get hungry enough to make the trek to the kitchen.

Note:
- Full body immersion in the cold water of a pool does not disturb me in this way. (minimally tested. 5 experiments 80% consistent. Further testing required for conclusive results)

I am so glad to know I am not alone! I tried to tell my sister about this earlier today and she said I was nuts! I always had a problem with my body temperature dropping for no reason and now I am older have IBS-D which this problem really irritates it! So I'm not crazy! Thank you for the suggestions posted.

I know this post is a little old but I want to lend my experience. I live in Minnesota so it is cold here about half the year. When we eat at a restaurant and then must go out into the cold to get in the car, my stomach just aches! Its like a strong cramp. Its awful. Happens anytime its cold out.
So for me, its having just finished eating and then going out into the cold.
Takes a while of being warmed up before it feels better.
