lol, it is a myth. I have never known a single person to have this problem outsaide the middle east. Please explain that. It is 100% psychological

Same problem, although only after I started taking a dirutetic.  Most doctors I've asked have no idea.  One doctor believes it may be related to not drinking enough water.  I suspect it's a combination of lack of water and eating gassy foods and/or not having enough fiber.

Its not genetic. I also suffer from the same problem. My ac when gets too low below comfort temp it turns my stomache. It makes me go to the bathroom and the stool is usually polluted. Wear socks at night and make sure that you ac temp isn't too low.

WOW I always thought that I was the only one!!! I've been trying to find an answer for this all my life. If I go from hot to cold (or vice versa too fast) or if my stomach does not have even coverage in layers (for example if the top half of my stomach has two layers of clothing covering it but the bottom half only has one) then I feel really really sick and I end up having diarrhea and have to go to the bathroom. I am so happy that I am not the only one. I only wish that there was a solution. I always end up having to wear a tank top or a leotard looking material under all of my clothing in order not to get sick. So happy to hear I am not the only one!

My moms side of the family has the same exact thing!! But it only passed on to ,not my sisters. Usually i can stand the cold cuz im use to it but its the places where the cold reaches me that make my stomach hurt. Id have to stay in the bathroom for like 10 minutes. And then have to come back after 2. Ive learned over time that u need to get a thermal blanket and heat up ur feet and body really good. If ur bed covers are cold or arent like cotton , i would but like a wool blanket underneath u so ur evenly warm. Idk what it is but defitnely have the same exact problem

Yes, this is a thing widely understood outside of western medicine. According to the older, more natural and tradition form of medicine from the eastern cultures, you're always supposed to keep your body warm. Outside of the United states no one put as much ice in their drinks! And women definitely are not supposed to have anything cold while menstruating. Because of this, parents always keep their infants/kids fully covered so they don't get any chills, especially stomachs cause that's a sensitive area. western or eastern, you guys were all probably used to being warm constantly when you're a kid and now your stomach has just been trained to be this sensitive. Im chinese and have had this problem my entire life, lots of asian people have this I think. I remember how weird it was at first seeing little kids wear so little clothes in chilly weather, and moms carrying their infants with just a diper on when I was wearing a sweatshirt.

Sorry but you're completely wrong my friend! I live in the U.K. and have suffered with these symptoms at the start of each winter for the past 10 years and no one can come up with an explanation why. I can assure you it is not in any way psychological!!!

Drink star anise tea. I have the same problem. Annd no one can undestand my theory that the air comes in thru my feet. I sleep with socks winter or summer. If there is a/c I hate my hair when wet as it causes me cramping also. Wet hair or cold feet. Aircon and winter. Best stomach enemy. Buscupan can help. Comes handy for me. But recently I found relief from star anise tea. But the next day, its the same story. So please can someone tell us how to forever eliminate this suffering.
