I have the same problem. I am a dude, though. I am 5' 8" and my stomach sticks out farther than my chest. I want to know why because I am only 111 Lbs. It is really embarassing and everywhere I go, I have to suck it in. The bad thing is, I have a six-pack, but people don't believe me because it looks like I am fat.
A possible cause could be Candida Overgrowth.

Okay ladies (and a few gentlemen), lets figure it out once and for all...
Our symptoms are remarkably similar: we wake up with flat stomachs and anything we eat or drink, even if it's water, creates gas in the lower abdomen and makes us look as if we were pregnant. It came on very suddenly for me. While I don't remember exactly how it evolved into this big problem, I know that it happened right after I moved from Europe to Canada, within a matter of a few weeks. It seems to me that something with such an acute onset must have a fairly straightforward reason behind it.
Could we try to create a list of things/procedures we have tried?
So here's what I have tried and what HASN'T worked:
I have tried a diet that excludes dairy, gluten, sugar, most fruit, caffein and alcohol for about a year. While it overall made me feel better (more energy etc.) it did nothing for the "pregnant stomach look problem".
I have also exercised 4-5 times a week for the duration of 4 years, which again overall made me feel better, but had absolutely no effect on the "pregnant stomach look".
I have also tried colonics, all the different probiotic yogurts and switching to orgnaic food. While all these things are certainly healthy, they didn't help.
I'm very sure that what I have is NOT celeac disease, any kind of food allergy, or weak muscles.
BUT, there were 3 days a few years ago when the problems has all of a sudden disappeared. The only thing I had been doing differently during those days is that I swicthed from my regular probiotic yogurt to activia. I woke up the following morning and found myself completely symptom free. It only lasted 3 days and, in spite of the activia, went back to the pregnant look. But the activia incident makes me think that it's something related to the flora of the intestine.
Someone on this forum was talking about overactive candida growth in the lower intestine. Does someone have more info on it? There's a diet you can do to "starve" the candida bacteria. It looks very much like the diet I had done already but not quite. Is there a medical test one can do?
the link isn't there
I had this problem and found out I was allergic to dairy. Yogurt, cheese and milk make me look pregnant, I eat them at night only now and that way I only have a couple hours of bloating if I crave them.
Try the pill form of probiotics, get rid of yogurt and try not to eat any nuts for a couple days. See if that helps
I'm 5'5 and 118lbs and thin/athletic build. The foods that make me look 7 months pregnant are the nightshades: tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, onion and sometimes garlic.
I did a food elimination diet to figure out the culprits. Google how to do one and keep a detailed food diary for a week or two at least. It took me three tries of the elimination diet over a five year period to figure out my culprits because I assumed gluten or dairy would be the food causing my bloating, and did things like combining tomato sauce with pasta and blamed the pasta.
Good luck
I was always very skinny, now I'm 5' 11" and 140 lbs.
I tried to gain weight by stuffing myself and got I bit thicker, but got my stomach bloated with barley any fat on it.
You are absolutely right, if you read curezone forums you will find out that most people diseases are caused by parasites. Even allergies and simple headache can be linked to worms or other type of parasite. It is very serious and thinking that we deworm our pets but we don't deworm ourselves is gross!
I have this problem. It's gotton worse over past two weeks. I'm about 5'2" and weigh 97. I continue to lose weight. My added condition is compression fractures of the spine due to osteoporosis and it causes a very uncomfortable constricted feeling across the area of my belly just above my naval. My belly protrudes like I'm pregnant. I just turned 70, no way! I've been in a lot of pain and discomfort from the fractures plus this. It's very disturbing! Recently went to the ER and they were unable to diagnose my 'gut problem'. I feel I have a problem there in my stomach/colon that needs to be diagnosed. Never been anorexic. I eat good healthy food, fish being the only animal protein I consume. It's interesting to me to know that so many others have a simllar problem that I'm not alone!
