THANKS
I have had these types of cysts for the past five years or so. This summer,I had a cyst so big and resistant to abx that I was hospitalized for IV abx. The doctor told me that it could be hidradenitis supportiva, but he wasn't certain. I did research and I don't think it is HS. Instead, I think it is just a bad case of cellulitis. I had three rounds of antibiotics, including the IV abx, and nothing improved. Finally, an old woman told me about black salve and said that her grandmother used it for everything. I was at that point where I had nothing to lose to try it - (I got a black salve at Walmart for less than $4. You also have to get bandaids or gauze patches to put on top), so I tried it. After 1.5 days of the salve, the cyst began to drain. I have another cyst that I just covered with a salve this morning. I expect results within the next couple of days.
Here's how to use a salve:
1) Soak in a hot tub with epson salts for AT LEAST 20 minutes. Using an anti-bacterial soap, too. Occasionally press on the cyst to try to soften it up. You can also use hot compresses for 20 minutes. When the time is up, dry area completely. If so inclined, dust lightly with body powder.
2) You put the salve on the bandaid or gauze - not the cyst itself. Put bandage over cyst, but do not press into the cyst. You can press on the sticky areas to secure to skin, but do not press the salve into your skin.
3) Change dressing twice a day.
4) After the cyst opens and begins to drain, continue to use the salve dressing once a day until it has completely dried up and out.
Black salves are amazing and so much better and effective than prescription medications. One note on salves, they stain and some complain of the odor. There is a mild tar smell to it, but I don't think anyone will notice unless they are up in your genital business immediately after applying bandage.
Hope this helps. It has helped me tremendously!
in the pubic area. Just keep area clean, leave it alone and it will go away. Don't worry about it!!
I have found the same thing in my pubic area... but when i popped it the puss that came out was a dark yellow and it hasn't bruised or anything
Thank you so much! oddly i was already looking into whether i might have hypoglycemia earlier today, this confirms a definite need to go to the doctors for me (it's really hard to get me to go). and the advice to go fasting will save me putting off going the second time and possibly ruining myself so thank you!!
If it hurts.. your skin is probably sensitive to whatever you are using
it can be an ingrown hair , or infected.
If it is infected you should your doctor..they should prescribe you for some Amoxcillin to make it go away within 10 days
