Vibrations in chest

I have the exact same thing it started 2 days ago like a cell phone on vibrate. It was on the left side behind my left breast on and off on Sunday. On Monday it went to the right side almost under the right breast. It is getting more persistant. I had my pace maker checked and it showed nothing. I had a chest exray done am still waiting for that report. But it is baffling I also have no pain but it is a little scary because I did have a heart attack and the back of my heart is dead. It does not keep me awake as it is so soft that I had to stop and think what was that did I really feel that or did I imagine it? Keep the posts coming in because my Doctors are baffled.

I have this same exact thing! I keep reaching for my phone too, vibration but just light. Really weird several times a day. Same spot left breast on bottom right of it.
I wake up every morning feeling this vibration and I feel it right through from front to back. It last at least 2hours 4am-6am and then I have to get away from it. It is a very unpleasant and scary sensation.
exactly the same feeling,is it a muscle spasm?
What I think is odd about it, is I e been reading that it is NOT a common issue so they know little about it and also claim it's really a non concerning issue. However, with reading about that and all, if it's so uncommon as they say..? Why am I reading about so many wemon that have experienced this same thing...? I find more readings of females having this issue then I can find to read about it or why it occurs. Just saying, it just seems odd to me that they write it off as non concerning. What if it's a warning sign, or a possible symptom of a possible health issue with something somewhere down the road..? Just saying what if, and it bothers me to read about it just be "nothing". Obviously it's something, rather it's serious or not, because if it were really truly "nothing" then it wouldn't be happening. Just a thought is all, Thanks to all who have shared and discussed this, as I do know for now... at this point and time it's non concerning. Best wishes to all and have a safe and wonderful holiday and the rest of the year. God bless you all Respectfully, Cherritta
My vibrations seem to happen in the winter time when my sinuses drain. I think it is mucous in the lungs. Mine is also on the left side. It feels like mucous in the bronchial tubes, trying to loosen up and come out.I also thought it was my heart, but I don't think so any more.
I had the same symptoms. Advice from the doctor was to take Vitam D 3 2000 IU a day because the reason it happens is you're low on calcium. Your body is constantly sending messages and the vibration is a muscle twitching. Solution is to up calcium levels.
a couple of years ago I had vibration in my chest area. Did a lot of research. Had lots of tests done. Definitely determined it was not my heart but still had vibrations.Tried a different Doctor. He prescribed a muscle relaxer - a one time prescription for under $10. Within two days the vibrations all went away and have not been back.
I too have the same sensation and have had it now regularly for the last couple of weeks
Mine has just started also, the vibration, it scared me.Never have I felt this before .but I have a very bad pinched nerve, Neck region .My left shoulder blade that I went to the er with 2 weeks ago and haven't got it checked out yet, figured ice packs would do the trick, but not helping. So yes I would say that the vibration is coming from muscle spasms, pinched nerve ..my pain is on left side, back shoulder pain, right under my shoulder blade in the middle, a spot about the size of a dime. My arm tingling and the vibration is in my arm also.. So yeah, pinched nerve!..good luck everyone.
Thanks for everyone's experiences! I too am looking for an answer. I'm a 78 year old male that has been having these chest vibrations since I was in my mid 50's. I'm actually in very good health for my age - no medications for any health issues. Never any tobacco products, excessive alcohol or illegal drugs. All my vibrations are in the center of my chest and last for 5-30 seconds. Many years ago my doctor appeared to be baffled, but said it was probably just chest muscles, because if it were my heart vibrating at 2,000 beats per minute (as I had estimated), I would be dead. These vibrations started along with a list of other symptoms a couple of years after starting on a Statin drug for high cholesterol. Finally figured out that these symptoms must be from the statin drug, so stopped taking it. Over a period of several years all the symptoms gradually went away including the vibrating chest. During that time, I tried another cholesterol reducer and within a few weeks the symptoms started returning, so stopped taking that, and they quickly went away again. I'm fairly active and all the tests over the years have indicated no issues from high cholesterol, so maybe I have a lucky bio. In the recent year or so, the chest vibrations have been occasionally returning. Then a week ago I had my knee operated on for a torn meniscus. Been spending a lot of down time with little activity and the vibrations are now back more than ever. As always, the biggest trigger is when I roll over on my back, or just lean back on something. This morning I had 5-6 episodes just before getting out of bed. I also have a "Pulse Oxy Meter" that clips on the finger. I've been keeping it near my bed so that when these start I can quickly monitor some of my vitals. What I found was - nothing! Pulse rate was normal at 70-75 and very regular while the chest was vibrating, Blood oxygen was in the high 90's %. And it displays a running plot of the blood pressure pulses, and they all look very normal. If it were my heart, I think should see many more pulses in between the regular ones. One other note; The chest vibrations have over time have slowed down from about 2,000 BPM (estimated) to now about 400 BPM (estimated). I can feel them quite pronounced with my hand on my chest. Never feel them when active. Would sure like to know the cause or meaning.
Add me to the list. But, two days ago I shoveled wet leaves for two hours. I am writing mine off to muscle spasm. But thanks for all of the posts. I am a healthy 67 year old male with no heart disease. Although I have had one heart rhythem episode and am taking medicine for that.
I got the other day and today. Felt like a cell phone vibration. It occurred both ways, caffeine or none
1st let me say I'm relieved to see that so many people have experienced this. It just started under my right breast this evening and I to kept thinking it feels like my phone vibrating. Except I was holding the phone..and it wasn't. As a massage therapist, I'm inclined to believe it is a deeper muscle spasm. My whole chest cavity all the way around has been locked up due to some health issues. I'm going to have a therapist at work release some of the areas and see if that stops the odd sensations. There is no pain associated with mine either. Definitely strange. But I don't think it's anything alarming.
I have the vibrating feeling also in left breast area. Not related to muscle fatique , stress, or being tire in my case. I am healthy, happy and well rested. I do however have proven silent reflux for which I take nexium morning and night. I have not been as vigilent with my doses the last few weeks and have been suffering indigestion. Hoping that by adhering to my medication as ordered the vibrations will resolve. I tpo have read that its a laryngopharyngeal loose flap which may be causing the vibrations.
