Vibrations in chest

I have the exact same thing it started 2 days ago like a cell phone on vibrate. It was on the left side behind my left breast on and off on Sunday. On Monday it went to the right side almost under the right breast. It is getting more persistant. I had my pace maker checked and it showed nothing. I had a chest exray done am still waiting for that report. But it is baffling I also have no pain but it is a little scary because I did have a heart attack and the back of my heart is dead. It does not keep me awake as it is so soft that I had to stop and think what was that did I really feel that or did I imagine it? Keep the posts coming in because my Doctors are baffled.

I read the comments below a week ago researching the same left chest vibration and since made a Dr appointment. However I was on a mission to see if I was in heart failure. Checking a new acid indigestion regiment of 1 Zantac late afternoon per day I decided to check side affects. Well long story short, I stop Zantac 2 days ago and the vibrations frequency and intensity are barely there. Will go to a natural antacid.
it is because of the stress. neurological problem. try cognitive therapy.

So I see all these responses yet no answer, I think I may go check it out just because I believe it has a lot to do with muscles and here's why. So my friend and I got into a wrestling match one night , he WWE smackdowned me into the ground and bruised my ribs, however I noticed that I couldn't breath because my muscles felt like they were a fist. This was due to me taking a week break from regularly working out, having an intense chest workout that day, to receiving a hard impact at night from the throw. The next two days I physically could not move, my chest felt paralyzed. About a week later I noticed whenever I work out or am fatigued, if I breathe heavy toe spots to the left and right of my upper sternum vibrate. It is uncomfortable and annoying , and I have no idea why it is happening. I hope it will go away on its own but now 2, months later I notice it more regularly.
"strained an inter-costal muscle and or a few ribs are out of place"
Yes, this sounds like the sort of thing a chiropractor would say, and after my experiences with Chiropractic I'd suggest to totally ignore it. These vibrations aren't like any twitch or spasm I've ever had in any other part of my body.
Same thing happened to me....Doctor diagnosed as anxiety chest tremor....not a real health issue...just a side effect of too much stimuli or anxiety
I've had this happen on and off over the last few months. I get it shortly after having coffee in morning, but no food. I assume its the caffeine giving me jitters. Its on left side under skin, feels like vibration in circulatory system, maybe a trapped gas bubble. Not continual or consistant.
Mine started two days ago and, nope it turned out it was not my cell phone So, in keeping with the current popular theory I am going to blame it on the Russians at least until I see my family doctor who, most likely will tell me to go home, take two aspirin and check back in a week or two Not me. When you are 86 you don't plan two weeks out. Maybe I will just put my cell phone in my shirt pocket and when it happens just live with the satisfaction of not answering the usual robo call.
Me too..For over a month on my right side upper chest to my back ...Off oand on vibration DAILY!!!!! Scary feeling and it seems it's getting stronger );
I have had the same thing off and on for 3 years. My cardiologist has no idea what causes it.
I feel the same thing like a. cell phone vibrations to my right side. No pain. Just like current. Not sure what it is.
Love your solution. I am 79 so I'll get "it's an aging factor' thing from my Dr. Mine started 3 days ago and I kept searching for my cell phone (which I have been known to keep in the left side of my bra....being right handed) only to discover nothing but me in there. Strange feeling, couldn't believe there are so many others experiencing the same thing.
I'm so surprised that I found anything on this symptom. Left upper chest, very slight vibration, softer than a vibration from a phone. I've had a cough for 19 months that doctors scratch their heads about. Can't WAIT to admit to this crazy symptom! I wish we had answers!
I've been getting these vibrations off and on for weeks. One day I had them in the center of my lower abdomen. I inquired today because it's happening right now. I have also developed eczema and wonder if there's a connection. I hope someone has an answer...
