Vibrations in chest

I have the exact same thing it started 2 days ago like a cell phone on vibrate. It was on the left side behind my left breast on and off on Sunday. On Monday it went to the right side almost under the right breast. It is getting more persistant. I had my pace maker checked and it showed nothing. I had a chest exray done am still waiting for that report. But it is baffling I also have no pain but it is a little scary because I did have a heart attack and the back of my heart is dead. It does not keep me awake as it is so soft that I had to stop and think what was that did I really feel that or did I imagine it? Keep the posts coming in because my Doctors are baffled.

sounds like pressure on a nerve to me if you have had neck /back trouble like i have it maybe related have a chest x ray make sure it is not a tumor pushing on things or something try not to stress over it and never look it up on the internet under signs and symptom -causes or you will have what ever it is thats for sure stay coll it's most likely nothing but i'm not a dr either
I get chest vibrations to just were my stomach is staight up before my rib cadge . scarry  i have had this before i do need to see doc i do have gerd and havent been taking medication also it hurst to ware a shirt our seat belt  our anny thing on my chest freaks me out.
Wow. Exactly the same sensations. A light cell phone ring. 45 y.o. healthy female. They just started yesterday. Never felt anything like it before. Mine is upper right chest.
I'd not worry about the heart connection with this buzzing. Every time my heart is listened to Doctors comment on how envious they are, then add the question if I've signed the back of my license! I found your post because I'm also baffled by the sensation you describe. I've worn my cell phone in my bra a few times, so I thought the first time I felt the vibration I had forgotten to retrieve it. Or, did the phone leave me with some sort of damage. I'll keep looking for some clue. If you get one, share here. Still, for now, put the worry over a heart related problem to the side.
Maybe it is some new form of terrorism with signals from cell phones?  Who knows???? It is very strange....
I'm 44 I have the same feeling on my left upper torso under my heart. My heart don't be beating fast just a soft vibrating feeling(pager like). Its been doing it for a couple days now.they say it could be gas but I do be passing gas then it go's away.
Did those symptoms ever go away?
I'm a 40 year old female , had panic attacks and anxiety that led to all sorts of heart tests. My heart is fine. The nocturnal panic attacks I were having are gone and I'm left with chest vibrations ( normally they wake me up from a dream), and sometimes stabbing neck and arm pains. It seems to be related to adrenalin. Maybe I'm tensing up and lactic acid builds up and I have a minor panic attack. Deep breathing helps 5 sec in, hold for 2, breathe out for 5. It also brings my awareness to How tense my diaphragm Usually is during these attacks. A two day stay in hospital really helped me let go of the feelings of impending doom that we're leading to panic attacks. Hope these chest vibrations disappear soonish, but for the meantime I try and focus on the fact that they mean I'm alive and they're better than a panic attack.
I am 33 and have had the same vibrations in my left chest like a vibrating cell phone. I had kept my cell phone in my uniform pocket and would always think it was going off. Seems that in most people the vibration is in the left pectoral region. Interesting there are no diagnosis.
I am 72 and in good shape . I started having chest and neck vibrations, starting about 2 months ago,  every night. I get stronger than cellphone vibrations in my neck and chest area.  Since they have started I can't lie on my left side. When I lie on my left side I get very very  uncomfortable and I have to roll over to my back or right side. After awhile the vibrations start, very strong and persistant. I have been to four doctors and they don't know what it is. Some nights I can't sleep and get up very tired.
When you have shooting pains in the chest usually across the breast area and down the side it's related to a trapped nerve so do gentle massages on the neck area and head exercises every day ,but if u have severe pains in the middle of the chest with arm pain then I would go see your doctor immediatly but if these shooting pains come and go relax it's more to do with trapped nerves
Nerve probably trapped massage your neck and shoulders several times a day
I realize this is an old post, but thought I would tell my story and post my on theory: I had a heart ablation due to severe PSVT. All went well for almost two years, but now I have a vibration on left side of chest. I always notice the vibration upon awakening, while I am still in bed. If I stay in bed without sitting up, the vibrations last 10-20 minutes. I contacted my specialist and told him my heart was speeding up in the morning and that I thought I might be having PSVT again--just much milder and without pain. He has me on a 30-day event (eCardio) device. I am on day 3 and time have the same symptoms. However the device has not recorded any event on its own. The two times I have pressed the event button, I am told that pulse does not increase during these events. That means my vibrations are not related to PSVT. I know the vibrations are not caused by anxiety. They are just as real as my PSVT was. Presently, my theory is that the vibrations in my left chest has something to do with regurgitation of heart valves. I found one doctor on the Internet that said regurgitation might possibly cause the feeling of vibration around the heard. So, I went back through all my records around the time of my ablation, and found a report that stated I have mild Mitral Regurgitation, mild Tricuspid Regurgitation and trace Pulmonary hypertension. I think the vibrations that I am feeling are a symptom of my heart valves not closing all the way. Perhaps my "mild" heart regurgitation have progressed. If that is causing my vibrations, I am worried. Regurgitation is very common, and many people have it without any symptoms. Word of advise: Do not let the vibrations "freak" you out. If you think you are in danger, do not let anyone (including healthcare providers) tell you that your chest does not vibrate and write it off as anxiety. Here is another story: I have cancer and other diseases. For two years my specialists told me they thought I was having panic attacks due to all the stresses in my life. I had never had panic attacks even when my daughter died suddenly, so I would not go to a psychologist. As the episodes grew worse, I thought the doctors might be right, so I started seeing a psychologist. She insisted my problem was medical. Nevertheless, I would not go to the ER even when my B/P would go so low that my machine could not read it, and my pulse would race over 200 bpm. I thought that ER doctors would also tell me that I was having panic attacks. Finally, I had an episode while driving. My brain was getting so little oxygen, it was not processing what my eyes were seeing. I started trying to talk myself out of my so-called "hallucinations." Finally I went to an ER in a small town during a 5-hour episode, my pulse was around 230. NEVER again will I believe a doctor that says, "It is probably just anxiety." When I did, it almost cost my life and lives of others on the road.
Do not go to a chiropractor!!! they are scammers and/or deluded individuals. See a real GP if serious concern. Do not panic about wifi or cell phones either, that's completely incorrect. I have read many pages looking for some info on this issue and still dont know anything about this. But i do know what its not. Its not a reason for fakes and scammers to take advantage of people with this
I'm sure it's a muscle problem.. I have weird stuff like that a vibration near my heart and also on my left shoulder lol. Just relax anxiety never makes anything better .. I think I had tender chest wall as a young adult so idk
