Vibrations in chest

I have the exact same thing it started 2 days ago like a cell phone on vibrate. It was on the left side behind my left breast on and off on Sunday. On Monday it went to the right side almost under the right breast. It is getting more persistant. I had my pace maker checked and it showed nothing. I had a chest exray done am still waiting for that report. But it is baffling I also have no pain but it is a little scary because I did have a heart attack and the back of my heart is dead. It does not keep me awake as it is so soft that I had to stop and think what was that did I really feel that or did I imagine it? Keep the posts coming in because my Doctors are baffled.

Have you talked to your doc about this? It could be a symptom of your hypothyroidism, and I'm curious to know if it is.
This happens to me too. I agree with everyone else who says this is a muscle spasm in the pecs. I also have ongoing pain on the right side I'd my sternum due to inflamed cartilage/pinched nerve in my spine. I am seeing a Chiropractor. It's all related. Also, I've noticed that it happens more when I smoke, which makes sense. I tend to get muscle twitches when I intake nicotine, so this is just another one that is being exacerbated. I know, I am quitting very soon.
I thought I was crazy too. Same exact feling like a cellphone vibration, left chest. Worried it was my heart. Started when driving home today. Relieved to see other posts saying the same thing. First time oday. I am 50 yo female.

Hi ya'll Today I got the vibration feeling again after not having it for quite some time. I will get this sensation for one to several days and it has happened for years.  It is intermittant once it starts too, May last for a second  or several.  May recur right away or not for hours / days / years.   I'm 52 and except for the fact that I am fatter than I should be I am pretty fit.   I thought I'd google and am having a fun time reading the posts.  Folks, do review it with your doctor, but be prepared to live with it from time to time.  I tell my husband, "My breasts are humming."  That is a more correct description since it is an internal sensation, not external like the cell phone.  Plus when I first started having this sensation, cell phones were not small enough to fit in your bra.  And while my breasts hum, they apparently are tone deaf beause there is no sound at all.  No sideshow job for me I guess.
I had this same feeling for the past week or so - it was really strange because there was no pain or anything, just weird vibrations that were almost regular. They have been gone now for about 18 hours and the only thing I did was yesterday I took a magnesium supplement (Natural Calm mixed with water). Not sure if that helped or they just went away on their own, but the vibrations started last weekend when I flew to the West Coast for a wedding and slept almost none and drank a lot. I heard that both of them can cause magnesium stores to be depleted, and that depleted magnesium stores can cause muscle twitching. Might not help anyone, but its an inexpensive and safe thing to try.
I hear you all , same symptoms as everyone. One thing in common is the heart murmur and mitral valve prolapse. wonder if it is circulation issues. Almost like maybe blood pushing through an artery? Why dont doctors figure it out, and maybe let us all know lol!
I have same symptoms on my tight side today is second day. Please tell me what it is. Im 53
I've been having this vibration too. It started yesterday, and I kept thinking my cell phone was going off in my bra, even though it wasn't in my bra. It is continuing to vibrate this morning also. Please help if anyone knows!
Well add me to the list! Been having slight vibrations for quite some time now. "Bout to drive me crazy, so googled it this morning and so glad to know I'm not loosing it! Seems like if I cough and clear my lungs it subsides momentarily. But always returns. Also I got choked really bad about 4 weeks ago. Don't know, but it might have been what triggered the vibrations. Thanks for any help with this!
I started noticing this a couple weeks ago, but only in the middle of the night after drinking some beers. I thought it may be gas or something. I would wake up feeling like I'm vibrating. So far it's only been on nights I have had 3-5 beers to drink. Lord I hope this is something serious.
Just like most of the other replies, I didn't expect to find so many  experiences exactly like mine - it does feel like a cell phone vibration!  I am 77 and it just started this week, on my right breast.  I do wheeze a bit.
I have had this for a few years now but it has increased to regular occurrences now.  Interestingly, many of my friends have started complaining of the same thing. Here's what I have learned having been to doctors, cardiologists etc and finding nothing.  Oesophageal spasms brought on by acid reflux, stress etc. can cause a muscle spasm in the chest that feels like vibrations. If they happen during an inhale or exhale cycle they can interrupt you breathing causing you to gasp for breath sometimes inducing subconscious panic, increased heart rate, increase temperature etc. I haven't found a way to control it yet although in few years I have observed a link to type of food I've eaten recently and also to stress or anxiety. Still looking for answers but was relieved when I knew it wasn't life threatening.
It is so good to know that it's not only me - I was getting worried until I googled it and got all these responses.
