I'm in Oklahoma where the weather is all over the place. 1 day it can be 20 degrees and windy(that KILLS ME !!!!) and the next day it can be sunny and 70 degrees. I have noticed when it warms up, I get better. When it gets cold, I get worse. I have gone through 2 rounds of anti-biotics and have had a cortisteroid shot(Kenalog). Nothing helps.
Every morning after a couple glasses of ice water and spitting up whatever settled in my lungs over night, I feel better. By the end of the day, I am super fatigued, coughing like crazy and spitting stuff up. I now sleep 10-11 hours a day and I just cannot kick this.
One thing I have not seen anyone post about is trying Colloidal Silver. I have just ordered some this morning and am going to give that a try, will report back.
Upon the recommendation of someone who has similar problems, I bought this high dollar stuff called "Clear Lungs" at Akins and found it a complete waste of money, did nothing whatsoever.
The other think I am doing is putting high quality super nano-particle high quality colloidal silver in the nebulizer 2 or 3 times a day. I have done a lot of reading on this and have found that it is good for bronchitis and pneumonia. It seems to be help, although I just started it yesterday. I am not coughing up as much phlem now.
Will report back in a few days.
Things get better and then the chills and hot flashes begin again and then the headache comes back. My lymph nodes swell and then go back to normal. The fatigue, weakness and stomach issues comes back. I have lost 50lbs (and I am heavy so not the worst thing) and I am losing muscle fast.
Before this started I was having a great deal of pain from my back and had to go on opiates until I got back injections to deal with the pain.
I was at month 2 when I got the injections and was just beginning to feel less crappy (still nowhere near well though) and the steroids in the injections caused my immune system to crash and I have been sick as can be since them.
Only when I rest for hours everyday am I able to feel somewhat normal but and physical activity brings the fatigue, weakness, headaches, swollen lymph nodes, joint pain (like extreme Arthritis) and muscle pain, as well as the constant body temperature fluctuations.
Just recently I began feeling a little tiny bit better. I am either in bed or in the recliner trying to wait this out. I have had Parvo virus in the past and this is nothing lile that. They even checked for Parvo again and nothing shows up.
This sickness has changed my entire life. I had to close my store after month 1 because I couldn't work at all. Even trying to look at the phone gives me headaches, dizziness and the urge to vomit.
Believe it or not, I Am Better now than I was when this first hit and I Am Better than I was directly after the injections. All that said, I am nowhere near back to 100%. This has been the longest I have ever been sick and I am truly tired of it.
The recovery may be getting prolonged with me because while I have been sick I have cut down from 15 cigarettes a day to 3. I have stopped taking almost all the depression meds, panic/anxiety meds, and ADHD meds I have been on for a long time. I stopped taking all the pills because I was tired of throwing them up and since I stopped the meds I haven't been throwing up.
I am also not suffering from the issues that caused me to go on the meds years ago. Even with all this sickness some good has come out of it. I feel HORRIBLE for anyone who has lost their job, needs to care for children and had to change their lives to make room for this Disgusting virus!! When the symptoms come back, I can't do anything but try to sleep and wait them out.
The length of this sickness is right up there with Parvo virus but at least I had 5 days in a row of feeling ok before it all went to sh*t for 5 days (and then feeling ok for 6 days, then feeling horrible for 4 days) with the Parvo Virus. This sickness lets me get maybe half a day to a day and then I am down for another 5-7 days.
After ALL THIS, I am finally finally finally beginning to get more than one day of feeling ok at a time. I Hope To High Heaven that I am finally beginning to round the corner on this virus and some normality will come back to my life.
I will report back if there are any more
changes in my condition. I think the one thing above all else that has kept me sane has been a strangely (but welcomed) positive attitude that hasn't been with me in many years.
If I could just get my sinuses and lymph nodes to get back to normal and get rid of these constant headaches and fatigueI think I could deal with the other symptoms but it is a package deal.
HANG IN THERE EVERYONE!! Maybe together we can figure out some way to deal with this so that our children and friends have some way to feel better if they catch this thing.
Sincerely,
SHOE (from Massachusetts)
My gosh Shoe you have been through the ringer!!!! Yes, this is a crazy virus, but as you said you are dealing with many things at once, trying to cut out meds and smoking which any one of them alone would be a tough battle, but hang in there and good luck, you will be in my prayers for strength! You might want to look into Neilmed nasal rinse for your sinuses, you can use it everyday as I do and it really does help, you can get it at CVS or Target, just about anywhere. And go on Youtube and look up lymph gland massage and you will see ways to open up your lymph glands yourself that also really help.
Keep up the fight, I know it is tough....years ago I read about the Sydney strain of norovirus, this still may be it or part of it, but it is just horrible. Years ago, my father said "it won't be war that will wipe us out, it will be germs and bacteria and viruses".....he may be right!!!
Good luck to you and all who look on here for answers!
God Bless!
