I had b 12 injections for a year maybe two. and I lost alot of weight along with a fat burner, and it does work, I find that the injection is more effective then just taking b 12
I just started the Dr. B diet and you are right - you could probably do this yourself, watching no. of calories and injecting yourself. It is very expensive for a shot and yes, someone talking to you like you have cheated....with a little attitude, also the nurses are not able to answer questions on an immediate basis and resident dr. is not always in. You are expected to continue paying, take the shot and see what happens, I guess. I have also been on the Herbal Magic, no B12 shot, but the counsellors seemed to be able to hold a conversation about the food, and most have lost weight on the plan. Not sure but think Dr. B. staff has not used the diet.
QUESTION: Where do you buy the B6/B12 shots?
QUESTION: Where do you buy the B6/B12 shots?
i had a gastric bypass 3 years ago and lost a lot of weight in the first 2 years, sadly i have gained 6stone in the 3rd year and feel really c**p.ive just been told i have to have b12 injections as ive had a mass llot of blood tests,im hoping they will help me get back on track does anyone have any info on this?
If you are paying $150 a week for B12 injections, you need to see another Doctor. I give myself weekly injections (3x a week). They are easy and painless as the needle is only 5/16". It just goes under the skin into the fat. It is easy and really does not hurt.
My Doctor gave me the B12 as part of my HRT replacement. A 30ML vile costs $50 and I take 1ml (1cc) a week...in other words, one $50 bottle lasts me more then 6 months....or about $8 a month for injections.
I find that B12 helps with energy and a feeling of well being. It is safe and very inexpensive. I have worked for a vitamin company for 15 years and have seem the studies and the first hand results so I believe....but if you are willing to pay $150 a week for B vitamin shots, I can sell you some swamp land in FLPlease check around because you are being hijacked!

Sorry to jump in here at the end of an older thread, but I am considering going to a "Medi Weight Loss Center" in an effort to lose 20-30 lbs. They use a Doctor supervised program with B-12 injections.
My question is has anyone any personal knowledge or experience with this weight loss (B-12 program) and is the "Medi" the best programs out there or are their (less expensive) alternatives.
Thanks!

I started on a doctor supervised program of 1x per week b-12 injections, acupuncture, fat burner pills and diet pills. I am allowed to eat all you can eat salads and veggies and only a fist full of food after the salads for three meals a day. I have lost over 30 lbs so far.
30 lbs - that's great!! How long have been on it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I have been doing bernstein & I can no longer afford it. Does anyone know how much B12 to inject & the name of the needle. What about the B6 do you inject that as well?
I am looking to lose weight with the B12 shot. I have been taking to dissolvable tab from the store. I have also been taking vitamins. I want to know if there is anyone over 250 lbs that has taking the B12 and lost weight, how long have you been taking the shot and how much weight lost in time. Thank you!
I weighed 201 lbs. and took the B-12 shots; I lost five lbs. my first week; I was on it for about three or four months and lost 16 lbs. I loved it; but I moved and don't know where to get it.
i have lost 7 lbs in 7 days on b12 shot. my starting weight was 278 now i am 271 i am happy with that. i just will keep trying i just cut back on what i eat and think before i put something in my mouth.
Do you know how you lost so much on the vitamin b12 shot? I am having a little difficulty bleiving you lost so much! Let me know if you have a moment...
I thought you were only supose to get them once a week
My boyfriend and I both take B12, since we're vegetarian. I got fed up with the fuzzy head, general malaise and tiredness and got bloodwork with my physical a few months ago. We take the B12 twice a week for now. We are taking the B12 for a variety of reasons, but my boyfriend heard that it helps lose weight and tried doing the injections on his belly. Strangely enough, (since I didn't really believe it'd work) He's lost 2 inches off that mid-age belly, and is more energetic than he used to be. He used to go to a doctor for injections every month which costed an average $400 a trip, but now we get our B12 from www.b12-injection.com. We used to get it elsewhere but these guys sell the same thing for cheaper and always answer their phone or phone back fast when I have to ask questions. They sell Ribose too, which I take as well. The Ribose is a different site though, it's http://www.buy-ribose.com/. Together, it's a pretty good combination for my health and fitness regime. I'm quite happy with my progress. The guy who answers the phone really knows a lot about health products!
Is it possible to purchase the B6/B12 injectables in Canada? If so, where?
