I am a very active military female, that gained over 20lbs in the past year after a knee injury. I was always a runner, and not being able to run, I gained..FAST. NOTHING I did got that weight off. I tried everything..I would feel inches come off here and there, until finally I caved in and tried the B12. This is Day 14 for me, and I have lost 14lbs of fat and 8lbs of water already. The shots help, although I think the regimen the doctor puts you on, combined with the appetite suppressants are the real reason why the weight is falling off. The B12 just gives you energy to compensate for the fact that you will be weak and tired because you are only taking in proteins and very little carbs. The B-6 is supposed to help with appetite suppressing and water weight.
I can only speak for me..it could be that they have given me the first "easy to follow" meal plans..it could be the pills..ultimately I think it is a combination of all. I pay $60/week, and co go in and get vitamins and B12 whenever I want. Yes, I think it is high, but it is quickly getting me back to the old me where I can maintain. However, I do not think this is for anyone who is not dedicated to staying fit. It is not going to "fall off and stay off"
