Please check under Benign Fasciculation Syndrome...closest thing I've found so far. In essence, it's a lot about fatigue and stress. I believe it was mentioned earlier in this thread. Hope this helps ease some minds.

i to have had the same thing for about the last 5 years when i try to rest i feel it the worst no pain just annoying iam told its stress im 37 healthy work out all the time so what is this?
I too have had this fluttering problem for years. I've found sitting on my head for about 30 minutes a day it goes away. I've found it's the only thing that works for me.
If it was AF you would be able to feel it in your pulse in your wrist. It would feel irregular and fluttery. I have exactly the same symptoms but on my right side. Probably gas.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but like everyne else has said, "I'm glad I'm not the only one". Sometimes I will ge the feeling and reach down to get my cell phone out of my pocket! 1) I don't have a pocket and 2) when I do I don't put my cell phone in my front pocket. But that is what it feels like, my cell phone on vibrate. I like the idea of doing a body or parasite cleanse. At first it was only once in while over the past year or so, but this week it has been fairly constant. Strange.
i have been going thru this for about 9 months. i have had 2 ct scans(abdominal and pelvic), 2 abdominal ultrasounds, 2 endoscopys, and a colonoscopy, 3 blood work ups and urine tests. i have been told its gastritis, acid reflux and h pylori. i have been a nervous wreck thinking it is my pancreas. oh, and i have had a HIDA scan on my gallbladder. that test showed that my gallbladder is working at 25%. the doctors want me to consider removing my gallbladder but i am a little apprehensive about it. especially since there are no gallstones.i have been experiencing this pain in the middle upper abdominal area and then it radiates to both the right and left sides. i also have the fluttering and back pain as well. all of this testing and the best the doctor can tell me is he is 80% sure that if i were to have the surgery it might relieve me of my symptoms. just wanted to share my story. thanks for reading.
I had vibrations in my right groin and found-out that cell phone users like me could experience vibrations in their bodies... in my research on the internet. I kept my cell in my right pants pocket and the frequent vibrations stopped when I changed the location of my cell phone. The sensations were driving me nuts and could happen at any time... it didn't matter if the cell was off, on, or not present... I got vibrating sensations. It was like Chinese torture... I thought I had so many incoming calls to answer even when the phone wasn't anywhere to be found! I found information that suggested amputees can experience sensations (pain, presence, etc.) in amputated body parts. Apparently, women carrying cell phones in pocketbooks over their shoulders, experienced vibrations in their shoulders, chests, arms, etc. even when not carrying their pocketbooks. Maybe some of the gals out their experiencing left abdomen pain are carrying cells in pocketbooks hanging on that side of their body next to their left abdomen. Try moving the location of the cell phone like I did. All I know is that the vibrations went away! Now, however, I hang my phone from a lanyard around my neck and its sweeping my belly, especially while driving, so I'm going to try moving it again to see if the cell is giving me these current fluctuations/vibrations in my left abdomen. Another habit I am guilty of at this time is playing my electric guitar (electro-magnetic vibrations) while seated with my left foot slightly elevated, so that may be related to my fluctuations/vibrations in my left abdomen, and not to my cell phone. I'll try stretches and limiting my sitting to see if that's the problem. Anyway, some of you who can't put a finger on your "fluctuations" should study where your cell phone (or, perhaps your misc wireless devices) are located on your bodies. I hope this helps someone out there! By the way, I was afraid to tell my Dr. about my cell phone "calls" as he might have suggested the looney bin for me... I was just glad some folks put that info on the internet! But, seriously, if you don't own a cell... go see a Dr. I hope I don't have to with my new fluctuations in my left abdomen.
