Hi!

How are you?

Dear pet lovers, I was not here lately because I was spending a lot of time with my dog. I totally listened your advice, and I went to see my vet. This dog is perfectly fine so far, all those analysis are good.

I need to wait for some other results, but this will take a little bit longer than I expected. Last night, he woke me up, together with my boyfriend. He was nervous, biting his leg whole night. Once again, I was thinking that this is nothing serious, that he just want to play.

But, in the morning, I saw that he has swollen leg.

Any idea why is this? What can be the cause?

Hey. I am glad that you listened to us. The vet should be really important part of your dog’s life. I am sure that you will handle with it just fine. About your question, when this started to happen? Last night or you saw that he has this problem before? Anyway, since you are still visiting the vet, let him know about this issue. I can’t help you, because you need to know the main cause of this swollen leg. I can only tell you, that before placing your dog into any specific position, observe the rest of his body, look for other signs of possible discomfort, or asymmetry.

Hey there.

I think that you don’t need to be worried that much. I really think that your dog just step on something, and that is the way how he hurt his leg.

This is something that can happen very often as well. But swelling in legs also can be possible as a result of swollen lymph nodes. But, I hope that this is not the case :)

It can be a lot of reasons for this, but only that I can tell you is that it is very important to treat a swollen leg quick. If you notice this problem, examine it as soon as possible to try to identify the right reason :)

Hey!I am happy because you have visited the vet. I am pretty sure that you will keep this dog. Actually, I can see that you like him right now :)I really hope that this is not lymph node cancer, but that is why you need to see the vet.

It is most likely that your dog is just injured…but, swollen leg may indicate a more serious medical problems as well.

Dogs are very active, they are jumping, running, and they can land improperly on a leg and injure it.

But, I repeat, it can be infection or cancer, and that is why you need to consult your vet.

Hello friends.Thank you so much for your comments.

I went to see the vet today. Again. I don’t know, but this is a little bit hard for me, but I won’t give up :/ I am now really in love with this dog.

Yes, my dog was playful and he was jumping in the yard. He hurt his leg playing around, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice this, and now, when I saw it, it was a bit late. Now, his leg is not just swollen, it is infected. Now I'm very concerned.

Please, tell me is this serious or not? What can I do about this

Hey there.

I have to say that I am really glad because it is just an infection. I mean, I am not saying that infection is not a big deal, but we have to be realistic – it is much better that your dog was diagnosed with something worse…

Now, if your dog’s legs are swollen and infected, this can be cured with some antibiotics. I am not sure what is the name of this meds, but I am pretty sure that you vet can tell you.

Anyway, there are some creams that can help you cure this as well.

I know that your dog will be fine.
