If you have been steady on subs you can take oxy if you continue steady on subs. I was taking subs and used my script to fast and went to oxy inbetween my next fill date. What you don't want to do is be on oxy regularly and then take subs for it will put you into one hell of a withdraw, I know this cause it happened today, I was looking this up from the bathroom of a public place while puking my brains out and sweating so bad looks like I took a shower. I then took subs to stop withdraw and was ok. I had taken oxy while on subs but not subs while I was on oxy and boy that was the worst mistake of my life, I'm a tough kid but thought I was going to die...IF ON OXY DON'T TAKE SUBS TILL IN FULL WITHDRAW OR IT WILL MAKE WORSE...BUT ON SUBS REGULARLY AND OXY EVERY NOW AND THEN WON'T CAUSE ANY REAL PROBLEMS, JUST DON'T STOP SUBS FOR ONLY OXY FOR MORE THEN A DAY CAUSE WHEN YOU GO BACK TO SUBS YOU WILL BE IN HELL UNLESS YOU WAIT ENOUGH TIME.......SUBS +OXY(RARELY)=OK.....OXY +SUBS(BEFORE IN WITHDRAW)=HELL ON EARTH
I dont know what the heck you people are talking about. I was on suboxone for a few months and went to the ER because of severe abdominal pain unrelated to the suboxone.I forgot to tell the doctors about the suboxone. I was given an IV with pain medicine (morphine I assume) and became so sick and went into a seizure. The doctors informed me that it was because of the 2 meds combine. Sick as I had ever been.
the problem with pain pills is you build a tolerence, so you go to a higher dose, maybe OC arent what works for you, there are MANY other pain meds that u can take till you find what works for you, Dilaid, morphine, Roxi etc
The sub will effect how high you get.I understand what ur going through,u took the sub and now ur not sick but still craving the whole process of crushing and sniffing a oxy/roxy.I would suggest waiting 12hrs after sub to do a pill,12hrs cause any time before that pill wouldn't really do anything to you.If you must b4 the 12hrs take as lil as possible just to get over that process thing.No shot will you go into withdrawals from taking blues/greens after a sub..Mostly just a waste of a pill if you can't wait at least 12hrs minimum

I talked with my doc that prescribes me sub's because I have a small emergency supply of Valium to help with sudden onset migraines. He said it was ok to take with the subs, but not longterm and not all the time.
I am coming off using heroin And have a script for suboxen last week. Everybody told me not to take the subs until you were sick because you will get deathly I'll. Well I did and let me tell you, I was so sick and couldn't get out of bed. My question is how long do you wait. I used my last bag at 7pm woke up at 630am the next morning and literally was not feeling good. I was sweating, had diareah anddidnt feel so good so I took a sub....big mistake... Any suggestions would help. Do I wait until I'm pucking?
I feel the same way. No one knows how I feel or what my problems are. I know how it feels to wanna stay clean but I'm my own worst enemy. I fell extreme guilt after being clean for half the year. But my pain (physical and mental) gets the best of me. Guess I'm just a weak person

Subone will help you not have those withdrawl symptoms. I was taking 500 oc in 2 weeks and then another 500 for the last 2 weeks. after taking them for 8 years.

I've really enjoyed reading these posts and did get my question answered , so I thank you all for your contributions. One of the things that I found to be terribly sad is how someone who sounds to be well above average intelligence can seem to be so matter of fact about how they're snorting Oxy's while being on Subs. Drugs do things to people that can take someone who normally functions quite intelligently and makes them look like complete immature m****s. Thanks for all the great advice, but I'll pass on all the pointers on how I can total foul up my recovery program. Sad.

There are people that really hurt, dont wanna take meds, but need/have to. You always run out early, and its good to have a few subs around to avoid acting all weird (avoid w/d fit). A day or two of slight pain is better than a full on fit. But just take a little bit not a full dose to get by.
and Im sharing my experience, (regiments) so shove it preacher man. the internets just a tool, not an answer.... thats why everyone shares their own info!!! People come up with there own info.
but for those that are just 'hooked' and not hurt, yes suboxione will do the job but start out knowing youre gonna quit and tapper off from the beginning... you can tell. if your determined you could do it very quickly and not go through hell...
