Omg yes. Someone said to take honey. I just had a teaspoon of liquid honey and the acute burning feeling became dulled instantly. My stomach still doesn't feel normal but i think I will be able to sleep now!! I don't really know what happened. I'm a 23 year old female, I have had a strange summer cold for over a month now. But a burning stomach is something new. I drank some expired milk which is on the edge of going bad with my sertraline pills and a few minutes later my stomach started burning terribly. Burping helped for about 1sec after every burp. Glad the honey has helped a bit!!

I'm dealing with my stomach burning now but, Its been 10 years ago I had the sudden urge to use the bathroom all day long felt like my life revolved around finding the closest bathroom I had no life!!! I finally went to a recommended gastronologist who tried to tell me that maybe it was all in my head. I was so upset thinking she might as well have been calling me crazy! Anyhow, she gave me Metamucil packets and told me to take it and that if it didn't help to call her back I had tried to tell her I tried everything OTC nothing worked so anyhow I took the Metamucil like she told me to a few days later I called her back in tears that I had lost all hope. Finally she referred me to a specialist that Doc was Heaven sent! He did a colonoscopy and found I had Abdominal Ulcers and those Ulcers were the cause of as soon as I would eat the food would just go right through me. I hope this helps!

Hello,
I too have suffered intense pain after sex. It felt as if my pelvic region was "heavy" and it cramped and ached. I usually would bend over and touch the floor in an attempt to stretch my back and pelvic regions. Anyway, after suffering for a few years I finally went to see my gyno. I was diagnosed with several very large benign fibroid cysts on my ovaries and in my uterus. My friend had also been diagnosed with the fibroids and she had a dnc to have them removed. She has one about every year because they grow back. Unfortunately for me, mine had grown large and attached to the ureters which allow urine to flow from my kidneys to my bladder. I had back flow of urine and was deathly I'll by the time I took things seriously. At 26 years old, I underwent a hysterectomy. This may not be the case with you, but I tell my story to help you see how important early detection is, in regards to any issue. So for your health, please see a doctor.

Hi you might be having h pylori. I am 22 years old and suffering from this. I went to the hospital and they did all the test for me and finally found helicobacter pylori. It causes gastric and several stomach diseases if left untreated. Anyone suffering from stomach burning should test for H pylori.the doctor gave me amoxicillin, clarithromycin and lanzoprazole for two weeks treatment. Hope this help. I am on the treatment now and it's not easy due to the heavy side effects of the medications.

I have this same issue but it only happens once every couple months and only in the middle of the night. Worst feeling ever! Did your doctor ever figure it out?

Hi there,

I had experiences just like this, with the sweating all over, being very nauseated, diarrhea, the awful burning in my stomach. It also made me feel like I was going to pass out and left me extremely weak. This for me was connected to eating squash, it did not matter if it was organic or from the grocery store, nor did it matter if it was cooked or raw. Every time I would eat it the reaction would be worse and more intense then the last time, and take longer to recover, the last time it left me with an awful aching back, like I had the flu or something. It took time to see the connection, because I also ate other things too. I hope you can figure out what is making you feel bad, a good doctor might help you solve the puzzle. Best wishes

My daughter has been having gastro issues for the past year, many appts with gastro specialist, all kinds of tests and no diagnosis. She is having stomach pain, vomiting, nausea which has ended up with several hospitializations for dehydration, not to mention pure exhaustion from working while so sick. She will have these episodes of illness and vomiting from a couple days to a week and then several days to a week of feeling better, then the whole cycle repeats itself. She has had all standard gastro tests imaginable. She has been referred to specialist in Chapel Hill, NC. I am terrified about what will happen if they don't find the diagnosis as she has developed a hiatal hernia from so much vomiting and am very concerned about it tearing. She doesn't have an eating disorder, she just wants to feel better and live fuller life ! Please if you have any ideas...post them. We are desperate for a solution.
